Thrive Pet Healthcare - Village Station (Now Doing Business As Forest View Animal Hospital)

We love coming here (e.g., service, prices, most staff) except for one aspect. There's one employee who has been unbelievably unprofessional and was even reprimanded by other staff for improperly grabbing our dog. She brings her dog into work and they are not friendly. She specifically told me her dog does not like cats and I'm not comfortable bringing mine there anymore. Everyone has to pass that dog and my cat currently likes dogs. I aim to keep it that way. A business is no place for an unfriendly pet, no matter the circumstances of the employee. They need to find other arrangements. We pay for the Thrive membership for both pets but have begun to reconsider a new vet because of this one employee. We do not want to deal with her anymore at all. We've been ignored, disrespected, and feel she's confrontational. If she's still there next time I call to make an appointment, it will be our last

My dog had an issue I knew she was ok but really needed to be addressed they took their time w me and Angel to see what the issue was and is there anything else going on. They didn’t push me to do anything w testing they encouraged it so I told them to do the works since she is an older dog and we take care of her we wanted to know and make sure we set her up right by getting results. They did the tests that we could do in the office and explained everything and handed me paperwork so in case I forgot something. I got the results a couple days later and the vet explained everything and I hung up happy. The facility is very clean and at the time there was a puppy coming in sick and they made sure our dogs didn’t cross paths. Very grateful for that. We will be using them moving forward for our visits. I also did sign up for the membership prior knowing we knew tests were going to happen. Saved $ and got nail trim for the $5 and they did more than expected.

I wish I could give a lower review. I brought my cat Haru here a couple days ago because she hadn’t been eating and was acting very strange and would cry in pain, they ran tests and said they would give her fluids but didn’t know what was wrong. I take her home and she is still the same so I took her to another vet that actually did something and didn’t just take my money. They told me that she in fact was not given fluids at this veterinary hospital and now she is back to normal plump and happy. Just hope yall can do better with the other patients.

Staff is amazing with our 2 dogs and 1 cat. Very kind and knowledgeable about best practices and willing to answer all questions and then some. Highly recommend being your fur babies here.

Nurse was quick and extremely helpful. Vet did excellent job explaining the issue and medication recommendations. The nurse was even kind enough to give Lilly free nail trimming. Highly recommended

My kitten broke her leg recently and everyone here has been extremely helpful and friendly! They treat my cat with care and are very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them to any new pet owner.

I’ve been going to Thrive clinics since 2018. Started in Arlington Heights and occasionally Elmhurst if there was more availability. But when I saw there was a clinic opening up closer to me in Hoffman Estates, I was looking forward to it. When they first opened up, it was amazing. The staff and doctor there were the friendliest I’ve ever worked with. I took all 5 of my animals in at once and they were so warm and welcoming and showed deep care for them. Especially our newly adopted dog who had quite a lot of medical issues. Then the new staff/merger came in and the quality of care went out the door. Especially from the initially point of contact who answers the phones and greets clients. You’d think that would be the person who is the friendliest and most welcoming but no…anytime I called to make an appointment or get an update on a test result, she had an attitude that made it clear that she was being bothered, and wanted to avoid scheduling an appointment at all costs. It’s like she was trying to purposely lose the clinic money by turning away clients. I was so close to leaving Thrive altogether, until I recently had to bring my dog in for an appointment and (as expected) was given the run around and flat out told "we are fully booked up and you don’t really need to come in for that" by said phone answerer at Hoffman Estates. Instead, I just looked for availability myself at different locations (because why would she want to help me out with that) and both Elmhurst and Arlington Heights had availability. I scheduled an appointment for Elmhurst (which is about an hour drive for me), and I’m glad I did because the staff who used to work at Hoffman Estates now works there.
