We were clients for 10 years. I trusted Dr Norstrem. Our cat, George, was ill (dying) and I made an appt for euthanasia. When we went into the patient room, Dr Norstrem advised that he thought he could save George and asked to take the cat into a different room. About 10 min later, a tech returned George inside his carrier and advised that I needed to take him to the emergency vet immediately. I asked what happened and was told that Dr Norstrem had given George an injection and George passed out. I asked to speak to the doctor and was told he was behind schedule and he could not speak to me. I persisted so Dr Norstrem talked to me in the hallway and advised that George was in distress and needed emergency care that he could not provide. I paid the bill took George to the car headed to emergency and but stopped in a parking lot to check on him and discovered George was dead. Why did Dr Norstrem do this? Why was he avoiding taking responsibility? I came into the office pretty sure George was dying. Why did he say he could save George? WHY??? did he give George an injection without my written permission. Why did he tell me to take George to the emergency vet 10 miles away during rush hour traffic? Cowardly!!!

We love going to Dr. Norstrem because he knows his working dogs. Dr. Norstrem and his very capable staff have helped us K9s through a variety of health related issues and emergencies. From panicked calls inquiring how much we need to worry about how many plums a teenage puppy should be allowed to pluck from a tree to abnormal growths needing surgery and hot spots. We like a vet we can have a conversation with and where we can ask questions and figure out all options on the table. We've recommended Crestwood to a number of working K9 friends as well as our non-working dog friends because we trust the level of care received at all levels of interactions at Crestwood. *We would like to acknowledge that COVID changed vet services everywhere and that is going to have a lasting impact for a while, but when we had an emergency, we were able to be squeezed in in a reasonable timeframe.

Crestwood cares about your pets (fur baby's) almost as much as you do. We have been a client for a long long time ( 30+ ) years.

We've been using crestwood for almost 8 years now and I feel that they treat our dogs like their own. I love the optimal service and care that we receive. The genuine interaction and the enthusiastic vibe from the staff and the vet doctor are my fave part of choosing them as my forever vet.

I've been taking my cat to see Dr. Norstrem for the past 5 years. His fees have gone up, along with the rest of the world, but he runs on time, takes great care of Ricky and we get in, get out, no nonsense, and all taken care of. Ricky just had his check-up, no shots, but a blood test and fecal test-cost $300. He will be getting a dental cleaning soon under anesthesia, which is running about $670 as a point of reference. It's a convenient location. The building is older, but in working order. The doors to the ops are those pocket sliding doors and are pretty loud as they slide, so they freak my cat out. But it's not a huge deal, just something I noticed.

Dr. Norstrem has been caring for our four-legged family members for twenty-eight years. He is simply the best veterinarian in the area. We love Dr. N. and his entire staff and so do our pets. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would.
