Animal Hospital of Orange Grove

Exceptional services for our 1-year old goldendoodle, Delta Blues. She was well taken care of by the professional and caring staff during her first boarding experience. After over 20-years of loyalty to the Orange Grove Animal Hospital, we wouldn't trust anyone else to care for our fur baby.

I had an emergency with my dog and my vet could not take him, so I decided to find a new vet that morning. My first call was to The Animal Hospital of Orange Grove. I told them what was going on. She had us in as a new patient two hours later. The staff were amazing! They talked me through everything and did a thorough check on my baby boy. I have definitely found a new vet for my dog.

We have been using animal hospital in orange grove for 4 years now since we got our sweet pet. We have been happy with the service they provide , until today. I went with my dog to get treated for a recurrent ear infection. It is a very small dog, Dr Nikki has always used one ampule of this expensive ointment to treat both his ears. This time though, I saw a different provider and she used 2 ampules wasting half of each in the trash ( I saw this with my own eyes ) and I even asked to use the half left in the first ampule to treat the second ear but she opened the second one and used half of it . I got charged for double the medication to be wasted. I find this to be very dishonest and unfair given all the charges that tagged on my receipt and that the medication itself is priced through their clinic at a much higher price than it is offered at other pharmacies or other providers. I called the clinic and asked to be refunded for the amount of medication that was wasted but they refused. I don't believe this a transparent way to conduct any business and to show that you care for your costumers and their hard earned money. It is sad that things had to come to down to this after being their costumer for that long .

Called this morning at 8:10 for my shih tzu being backed up and being in pain. They got us in at 10:20 and got us right back. Examed him, took him back for X-rays, and the doctor came in to evaluate and treat him. From start to finish we were there maybe an hour, they diagnosed and got a treatment plan done up and sent us home. Within a few hours my boy was acting more like himself. They made me feel heard from the initial scheduling all the way to the end when they took my payment. The payment also wasn't as much as I anticipated so they have fair prices. Any questions I had the vet gave me 110% of her attention and answered all questions and listened to me. I genuinely felt welcomed. Out of multiple vets I've taken my animals to on the coast this is by far the best. I look forward to continue taking my babies there for their health needs. 🫶🏼

After losing one of our precious furbabies to undiagnosed tumors we went in to interview AHOG looking for a new vet for our remaining furbaby, not knowing our time with her was also limited but knowing she needed care. We made an appointment for our girl, but unfortunately it was too late for her too. Another trip to the emergency hospital only to discover she also had an undiagnosed large tumor in her bladder. But, during our visit we found the AHOG staff to be extremely helpful and patient as they answered all of our questions. Once we are ready to welcome a new pet to our family we will definitely enlist their services.

Everyone was so friendly and kind from the front desk to the doctor! You could tell they love their job and love the animals! Dr. Chapman was so sweet and caring. Felt complete confidence in her ability to care for my dog!

I thought my dog’s eye had been scratched or cut. They worked her in late on a Friday afternoon to see her. Ends up it was just fur in her eye. Although it did not end up being a serious problem, they were able to get the fur out of her eye, which I never would have been able to do. Any time I have a problem with my dog they go out of their way to try and see her. I really appreciate all of the vets, techs, and office staff who are willing to go out of their way to help their customers. And, of course, can’t say enough good things about Dr. Palermo and the other vets at Animal Hospital of Orange Grove.
