VCA Woodbridge Animal Hospital

After recently using the emergency service for our senior pet in what ultimately became an end-of-life situation, I wanted to share how compassionate and professional the staff were during an incredibly difficult time. They treated both our pet and our family with kindness, patience, and dignity. We have used this veterinary hospital several times over the past 20 years, and the care has consistently been both competent and compassionate. Although I no longer live in the area, I still highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for experienced, caring veterinary care.

We switched to VCA Woodbridge about two years ago from another VCA in the area, and I’ve been so grateful for their care. When our four-year-old started having seizures last year, they were patient, thorough, and always willing to answer our questions. We also got a puppy in September and have been bringing her here ever since. She was spayed last week, and the team was amazing—sending texts and photos throughout the day to keep us updated. We’ve had nothing but great experiences and definitely recommend them!

Let me start by saying we came to this animal hospital like a tornado. Our dog was unconscious, they were within an hour of closing on a Saturday, we’re not patients and had never been to this location, but they still took our Benji right back and began doing everything they could. He didn’t end up making it, but the grace, patience, and understanding the staff provided us was incredible and will never be forgotten. They were all so sweet and caring during our most distressing moment by allowing us time and space with our good boy to love on him one final time. I wish I could remember the vets name to specifically call her out but the moment is such a blur- she was a superstar in answering every single one of our questions and providing her expertise to help us get to the ‘why’ of it all. Thank you so much to the staff at this VCA location, you all made the worst day of our lives a little less bad.

I would definitely go here The vet who I saw took my dog case very seriously which I was very happy about he saved my dog’s life without him. My dog would’ve been dead. He is very experienced. He is very thorough and he goes through every thing possible to do what is needed! This place definitely cares about animals! I would recommend this place especially if your dog is in critical condition, they will take your dogs health very seriously. Whenever I came in, I was very emotional. I was so scared. My dog would not make it. I put my hands over to these experienced vets and they saved my precious baby. I honestly cannot think him enough.

I took my dog in for an emergency visit during the day. The office is clean and well maintained. The front desk staff is friendly and very helpful. Dr. Haverly was my dog’s vet, and he was incredibly compassionate and caring for my dog. He provided a thorough examination and treatment plan options for my dog. My dog has been better since seeing Dr. Haverly and I’m thankful for his assistance.

Unfortunately our dog had a seizure this morning for the first time. Our primary vet wasn't available but they recommended VCA in Woodbridge. The fortunate part was the care he received. Dr. Haverly was patient, empathetic and thorough with Ollie. He took a very scary situation and made it as best as he could, along with a plan of action that made us feel confident in our care of Ollie after this. The vet techs were also very kind and caring, they made Ollie feel very comfortable. Thank you to the VCA team.

I recently look my dog, Teddy in for his annual check up and spur of the moment decision to get him microchipped. The staff I had encounters with were just the sweetest people. Everyone was so warm and inviting which is appreciated being a new client with a nervous boy. The vet and the assistant were so gentle and explained everything so thoroughly. I really appreciated how they provided up front costs and didn't try to push services due to my budget. I also really appreciate the phone call follow up a couple days later after Teddy's vaccines to make sure he was doing okay.
