I have nothing but great things to say about this clinic. Dr Gates has been amazing. She’s done a few surgeries on my cat, and he’s doing amazing. She explains things really well, and is very compassionate. Dr Strickland has been great too. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I have two dogs and six cats, and they’ve been wonderful!!
Dr Jarvis is phenomenal. She took her time, explained all of the possible treatment options, and really allowed for a space of shared decision-making. She truly has the pets, and their pet parents best interests at heart! The front desk staff and assistants were also so kind and welcoming!
My first time using Oldtown and I received excellent care for my kitty Milo! I would definitely recommend using them for excellent care for your fur babies!
We’ve had a great experience here. They take excellent care of our dog and actually focus on what matters instead of pushing a bunch of unnecessary tests or add-ons. That’s been huge for us. They’re also very reasonable on pricing, which is honestly hard to find with vet care these days. On top of that, they’ve been helpful when it comes to navigating insurance and making sure we’re getting what we need covered without a headache. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals and the people bringing them in. Really appreciate having a vet we trust. Dr Jarvis is absolutely amazing. We could not ask for better veterinary care.
Unfortunately they cancelled my appointment before I could even come in. They kept harassing me about paperwork that I don't even have. I already had the appointment scheduled so I don't understand the need to cancel something without my consent. Going somewhere that's less automated and more humane. Bad first impression.
Dr Gates and the staff at Oldtown have taken care of my two cats for their entire lives. They are currently 8 years old. Dr. Gates is a highly qualified professional who exhibits a great deal of compassion for my pets and she is much appreciated. I highly recommend her and her team and staff at Oldtown.
It’s very difficult to find a vet that wants to genuinely take care of your family pet without spending more money than necessary. Even though we may have it in our budget, it’s comforting to know they want to take care of them and not look to spend your money. Our one pup has seizures occasional due to having a very sensitive system. They always know this and find the right medications to fit her need. I don’t even have to remind them. Our last vet (not going to mention the name in Davie County) would never remember and even though I would bring it up, they would say it "should be fine". Old Towne does not do this and I am so thankful. It’s just another thing that proves they genuinely care for our pups. So thankful for them.
