Moved my 6yr old pittie mix to LaCroix from another vet in Wilmington, because they constantly pushed antibiotics versus looking for a root cause. The office staff were prompt, got us in quickly for our first visit, super friendly check in service, comfortable office (no scary vet vibes or scent), and they have a great texting/post visit process where they update you about your pet, check in to see progress, and are able to help with prescriptions or questions. We saw Dr. Dixon, and she took her time with Piper, never rushed the visit and wanted to know her full background. I also mentioned the antibiotic woes at old vets and she fully supported not immediately going down that route. She was gentle, caring, and gave good recommendations, without trying to upsell anything, and cared about cost savings. We are grateful to find LaCroix!

always kind and offer the best advice and proactive care. seth is 5 and has been seeing Dr Dixon and her associates his whole life. i couldn’t imagine a better facility from the tech who takes blood to the administrative staff that sends records and answers the phone. 10/10

The veterinarians and the wonder technicians take the time to explain everything clearly and make sure all your questions are answered, which really puts your mind at ease. You can tell they truly care about the animals they treat and go above and beyond to ensure they’re comfortable and well cared for. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and runs smoothly, which makes every visit a positive experience. I’m so grateful to have found a place I trust completely with my cat & dog’s health. I’ve been taking my cats here for years, and now my puppy, and I truly can not say enough good things about La Croix, specifically Dr. Deak. I went to 3 other vets before this one, and always left feeling robbed of hundreds of dollars for a 3-5 minute visit with a vet who seemed as though they couldn’t care less about you or your pet. Dr. Deak is the absolute opposite of this. She spends quality time answering every question I have (even the crazy tik tok ones), and creating a meaningful relationship with patients and pets alike. They’ve helped put me at ease so many times, and go above and beyond to ensure my animals are loved the same way I love them. Thank you La Croix for being everything a veterinary clinic should be!!!

All three of our dogs come here and get better treatment than we do at our doctors. The receptionist are friendly and helpful, the techs are great and the vets are amazing . Dr.Dixon has treated all of our dogs since they were puppies. She treats them as if they were her own. She is caring, compassionate and very knowledgeable. We also appreciate she stays up to date on all research and her passion for animals is obvious. Any time we have had a serious issue they always are able to accommodate us typically the same day. We wouldn’t take our pets anywhere but LaCroix.
