Today was one of the hardest mornings of our lives, and I can’t express enough gratitude for the care we received. Dr. Townsley was compassionate as hell. She was gentle, honest, and gave us exactly the guidance we needed without rushing or pressuring us. Every explanation came from a place of empathy, and that mattered more than I can put into words. The front desk associate deserves a special shout-out for holding steady when I absolutely could not. Her calm presence was the rock-solid start I needed walking into something so overwhelming. Every staff member we encountered was patient, soft-spoken, and made us feel genuinely prioritized. They treated our girl, and us, with dignity, kindness, and respect from start to finish. End-of-life decisions are devastating, but this team handled ours with integrity and grace. We felt supported every step of the way. Thank you for honoring our baby and for taking such tender care of our family when we needed it most. We will never forget it. 💔🐾 — Elise & Michael
My cat of 7 years passed away yesterday on March 12th. His name was Meow Meow. He had a urinary blockage. He was in the hospital for about 2 days. When he came back home he looked tired and in pain. The doctors did the best they could for him, thank you guys. When we brought him back to be checked up on he was blocked again. We didn't want him to be in more pain. So we put him down. In his last minutes he was happy and loving. He will always be the most best, kind, and most gentle cat ever. I love him. Thanks to the Staff and Doctor Lofgreen my cat got to see home one more time and and have no pain before he passed. I Thank you guys dearly for trying to help him. Love you Meow Meow.
My dogs got into a prescription medication and i had no idea which dog ate what amount. they did an amazing job caring for both pups. my one dog is extremely timid and a bite risk for vet staff if i'm honest with myself. they did amazing at being 1) honest with me about how much they could touch/handle him 2) caring for him despite his challenges. My other dog is extremely friendly and definitely was more sick than the other. they did great with caring for him. i did have to pre-pay for their 12 hour observation & likely treatment and was immediately refunded upon pick-up for treatment that they didn't end up needing. i returned the next night with my sick-er dog mostly from my own anxiety. they did amazing at prioritizing to the best of their abilities. my boys were seen almost immediately the first night and i waited a bit the second night while more critical patients were seen. there is a slight wait and sometimes you go without update for a bit, which is expected when all their attention is on caring for sick pets! thank you for helping my pups and being so kind and understanding to me!!
Due to unfortunate events my tiny yorkies jaw was broken and the bone was protruding through his gums. Our local (tulsa) dental expert was not able to get my Leon in for several days. Dr. Winter and his staff were able and willing to work Leon in same day (Wichita), I just had to drive the 3 hours to get him there. Dr. Winter, Laredo, and the rest of the team were fantastic. I was a blubbering crying mess, stressed about the outcome of the entire situation. Not only did they work us in same day, Dr. Winter was so knowledgeable, compassionate, calm, reassuring, and empathetic, he gave very clear explanations for repair options, the steps he would be taking and what the outcome could be for short and long term care for my little guy. They provided a low and high end estimate of cost before ever starting the surgery. I received numerous updats during the surgery and Dr. Winter called with the outcome and steps taken once the surgery was complete. I also received updates during Leon's overnight stay in ICU. The overall cost for Leon's surgery did put a good dent in the pocket book, but it did not go outside of the estimate provided. Id pay every penny again just to make sure my little Leon was ok. Over all, 100% exceptional service, care and experience. Thank you for being so patient and caring for not only Leon, but myself as well.
Very good experience. Registered first online. Upon arrival they quickly took my dog for an exam, short wait, then we went back to meet with vet re treatment. Vet was kind and caring. Two injections and we were on our way. Just under $300 but honestly expected it to cost more.
I rushed my beloved kitty in from 67 miles away on late Saturday night and I was absolutely beside myself. From the front desk, to the nurses, to the Dr and everyone else there, I want you to know that everyone of you helped us in such a horrific time. And even though I lost my Binx, I know you did everything you could to help him and keep him comfortable while I made the decision to end his suffering. The compassion and care you showed me and my baby, was truly a blessing in that time. Thank you for the tough job you do and the love you show to both four legged and two legged beings.
I brought my dog Apollo to this animal hospital early in his DCM journey, before it progressed to congestive heart failure. By that point, he had already been seen by three different veterinarians, and I was looking for clarity and support. The veterinarian we saw was knowledgeable, compassionate, and took the time to explain what to expect given his condition. She provided an appropriate interim intervention to support Apollo until we could see his primary vet and a cardiologist, and she shared helpful information on supplements and supportive care. I’m very grateful for the guidance and care we received during such a stressful time.
