Shores Animal Clinic: Porcher Dale DVM

Dr Porcher, has retired he was indeed a wonderful vet. However before he retired he sold the practice to a corporate environment. I was extremely displeased with the care I got there. They would not discuss with me the fact that my dog was terminally ill but just kept trying to sell me expensive diagnostic procedures, and the vet would not answer my direct questions. My poor dog was in excruciating pain, and all they were interested in was a 450$ ultrasound examination. Prostatitis an adult dogs wether viral bacterial or cancerous is usually fatal. We did one round of treatment with an extremely high dose of antibiotics, with no effect. Then the sales pitch came for further testing, MRIs ultrasounds or whatever. My poor dog was in agony I chose humane euthanasia at home. Shores refused to do that even though I live less than a mile away from them. I will never go back there nor will I recommend anyone to go there. .

Professional, clean with the most attentive staff. The veterinarians take the time to become familiar with your pet in order to give our furry friends the best care possible. They are open to answering any question and provide logical explanations to help owners understand what is wrong with their cat or dog. I would not bring my Nadja anywhere else!

Dr Porcher saved the day for our sweet munchkin cat. She was having difficulty breathing. We were taken back quickly, and she needed two chest trays. They were fast, and after we were sure there was no fluid in the lungs, Dr. Porcher administered meds quickly and let me take our baby home. Everyone was so nice. Thank you for everything!!!

Dr Porcher is no less than amazing.. warm caring and extremely brilliant. He has helped us over and over again with our aging dog and it has been truly special

The team at Shores Animal Clinic are the most professional, compassionate and caring veterinarians I've ever experienced. Their entire team is five star - from the office administrators to the nurses to the doctors, every one of them. I can't recommend this vet high enough as there isn't a six star option.

Dr. Porcher is the most caring, honest, experienced veterinarian you will meet, and his staff is the same way. When dealing with your animals doctor trust is the most important thing. When the staff asks me what do I want to do, the answer is always, whatever Dale says.

Love this Vet and his Staff. Very hard working crew. Dr. Dale I have known for over 20 years. He has always been very honest and fair. What more can you ask for from a vet?
