Putting our little Ginger down A couple of days ago was the hardest thing we have had to do in a long time. Ginger was A big presence in our household, and these last few days have been the hardest. Fortunately we can take comfort in knowing that Ginger was able to pass peacefully at home on her favorite Blanket. God bless Dr. Milligan and her assistant for the work they do. This was a very peaceful and loving experience and the perfect end to a good dog‘s life. Thank you, Dr. Milligan For providing this service and may you continue to do a good job. What you do for these pets and their families is priceless. God bless.!
We had our American bulldog put to rest by two wonderful veterinary technicians. They came to our home and made my dog and my wife and I feel comfortable. The process was done very professional and we would recommend. They also offer cremation and paw prints. I do recommend that as well.
Very private and comfortable for the family and the pet. Having Ellie euthanized at her home with her humans was peaceful. Dr. Milligan was very compassionate, sensitive and patient. We never felt rushed with our goodbye.
We found out our sweet jayda had cancer and 3 weeks later it took a turn for the worst so we were distraught to say the least and truly lost on who we could trust with our baby after lots of research and many calls I chose door 2 door and have been nothing but pleased!! They got us in the same week I called and the plus side they came to us so our girl was comfortable in our own home and had her whole family around during her very fragile time!! Dr milligan never once made us feel rushed or hurried she gave us all the time we needed and was truly amazing during such a hard time!! We just picked up our girl and the box and print are stunning and came back to us very quickly!! We are very pleased thank you again!! xoxo The Crabbys
While my dog was being euthanized, Dr. Milligan entered the room and immediately focused on completing paperwork. She did not introduce herself, express condolences, or acknowledge the emotional nature of the situation. There was no effort to speak with us or offer comfort during this very difficult moment. Her husband, who is also a veterinarian, was kind and compassionate; however, his ability to provide comfort was limited, as Dr. Milligan became visibly frustrated with him for speaking. After the procedure, Dr. Milligan stated only that our dog’s heart had stopped and then left the room without explaining next steps, saying goodbye, or offering any words of sympathy. This occurred the day before Christmas Eve, making the experience even more distressing. Due to the lack of compassion, communication, and professionalism shown during such a sensitive time, I would not recommend having Dr. Milligan perform euthanasia services.
When my elderly cat started to exhibit signs of kidney failure, my vet suggested that I start looking for a vet that does home visits for euthanasia. The next morning, he had declined further, so I called Door 2 Door and was very pleased that they were able to come to the house that afternoon. Before the visit, Dr. Milligan texted me the info on cremation options, which I appreciated so that I didn’t have to focus on paperwork when they arrived. Dr. Milligan and her tech were very efficient and professional at the house. Mojo passed peacefully eating a lickable treat, and they gave us time to sit with him alone before they left. I am very grateful that he was able to pass at home in such a gentle way. I retrieved his ashes and paw print today from the lock box outside their office and also found the process very smooth. Door 2 Door was also much more affordable than other mobile vets that would have had to travel from Salt Lake or further. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.
Dr. Milligan and her assistant made one of our saddest days more comfortable for both our dog Naruto and for our children. we were able to put him to rest in the comfort of our home and they were patient and very compassionate. Thank u door2door!
