WVRC - Waukesha

My daughters Dog Milo was experimenting heart issues. To get a correct diagnosis we chose WVRC to have him evaluated. Dr. Emily and the staff were incredibly compassionate. We were pleased with Dr. Emily's care and expertise in her diagnosis. We also thought her staff was amazing from our check in, registration, and check out. Unfortunately Milo went into cardiac distress and we chose to let him go compassionately with his Momma, and Family by his side. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us prepare for this difficult time.

What can we say. We brought our senior cat into the facility. We were met with kindness, compassion, respect, and concern. We were shown a private room, while we waited for the diagnosis. Staff would come in and give us updates. Our Allie was diagnosed with cancer. We were given numerous treatment options. Because of her age, and other medical issues we made the hard decision to put her to sleep. We were moved to another room, and Allie was brought in so we could love and comfort her. The doctor was paged, and Allie crossed the rainbow bridge in our arms. I highly recommend this facility for the love and compassion they showed our Allie, and the compassion and support they showed us during the emotional time. Rest easy Allie, you will always be in Mommy and Daddy cat heart and mind.

Firstly I am grateful they got my dog Cooper able to breathe more freely as he has pneumonia. Everyone was kind and compassionate. I wasn’t prepared to see him struggle to stand or walk well. He had been sedated while in an oxygenated crate, which I was happy for. It would have helped to have been told that this is normal and the sedation will wear off. He is now walking normally and looking better. The tech Virgil was very good, I especially appreciated his kindness. Coopers bill was 4000.00 for approximately a day and half. He didn’t have any real expensive tests. So I wonder why it had to be so much. We will do just about anything for our beloved pets. I am so sorry for the people who simply have to say goodbye to their pet because they can’t afford treatment. It’s so expensive to have a pet.

Amazing vet clinic with amazing staff. Dealing with a new and very scary chronic diagnosis of ITP with our dog that requires very frequent visits, lots of bloodwork and lots of meds. We were new to this practice and they transferred us to the clinic coordinator immediately so we could get in right away to be seen since this is such a serious diagnosis, this was such a blessing after being told by our previous vet they couldn’t get her in for 2 months. Dr. Hillary was so comforting when we first brought her in after being diagnosed in the ER, making sure we knew all the options and immediately adding another med at the first sign of a decline in her labs. Dr. Lane, who has been seeing Elsa since our first visit, has been absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to make sure our beloved Elsa is getting the absolute best treatment so she has the highest possible chance of a good outcome! We have been to both the Waukesha and Pewaukee clinics (although separate they collaborate amazing together) and we would absolutely recommend both locations to anyone and everyone!!

Highly recommend! Excellent, thorough, knowledgeable, kind & compassionate care! Our dog Kace was admitted to the WVRC for emergency surgery. We opted for a CT scan prior to ensure no other Issues were present. The staff coordinated this procedure with the surgeon so if all looked good on the scan, they could proceed to surgery asap, to avoid having to sedate him twice. I was so impressed w/ the team & Kace’s amazing surgeon, Colleen Mans! They were so patient, kind and thorough in following up and updating me on his progress & recovery! I’m so thankful for them, Kace is doing great & back to his normal, needy & spunky self!

Professional and compassionate care for my critically ill best friend Emmett. Great communication with realistic outcomes. They immediately got my dog to a vet tech upon arrival to the lobby. I am very grateful. I don't know how long we have but he is enjoying life again because of their care and interventions.

Unfortunately we had to bring our cat here for an emergency at 4 am & he did have to be euthanized 😢 Dr Meaux and her staff were amazing through the entire process. Very caring, understanding, patient and they didn't rush the process. The room where we spent our last moments was very comfortable and private. The prices for being a middle of the night visit were very reasonable. Thank you for everything during this difficult time.
