I couldn’t say more positive things about my experience with this clinic. When you’re having those scary moments and genuinely concerned about your dog, it makes all the difference knowing they’re in good hands. I’m incredibly relieved that Dr. Rana is the professional behind this clinic. The care, compassion, and attention they showed meant everything to me. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring vet
I had to bring one of my bunnies here on Saturday because I noticed he was peeing blood, somewhat of an emergency. I called about 15 different vets and this was the only vet clinic that had an exotic vet on staff with openings. I drove an hour to get here and I would do it again. The vet was very thorough with the exam and explaining everything to me. She answered all of my questions and came up with a treatment plan. All of the staff I interacted with were very kind. I paid $330 for the exam, 2 medications and a shave due to having matted poop by his leg. It was a bit pricier than I expected but maybe it’s standard pricing for the area. I am so thankful I was able to get the appointment on short notice!
Excellent staff. Very satisfied. They truly care about animals. Which helped my cats feel more relaxed.. we will definitely keep returning for future visits. Thank you guys so very much for your gentle care for my lil guy having a claw removed. You guys are awesome.
The Vet and Vet Tech were very knowledgeable and kind with our new puppy. They both took the time to answer all our questions and didn't rush through the appointment. The vet went the extra mile by writing and emailing us a necessary informational letter that we needed to provide to the rescue organization from where we adopted our puppy. Excellent service at the receptionist desk.
My cat stopped eating over the weekend (of course), and I was trying to find a clinic open on a Sunday, that wasn't corporate owned and didn't have outrageous fees. How glad I am that I stumbled on Westown. Dr. Gordon was wonderful, compassionate, and informative. The supporting staff were also amazing, and able to draw blood from this very fussy cat. They were very compassionate, and not too loud and boisterous with an ailing, elderly cat. They also helped bring her from and back to my car, since I wrenched my back. A very caring vibe. A followup visit happened at EverVet and they were equally great. They were amazingly able to get a port into Chickpea's arm. Emergency vet visits are often so stressful and these teams did the best they could given the number of clients and time constraints. Hats off to the teams that make these sister veterinary offices work so smoothly and compassionately. My only critique is that, like most vets, the walls are mostly bare, except for maybe a little cheap home decor. It would be nice to see a little beauty on the walls, and have something calming to look at while waiting for the vet, techs, or test results in otherwise barren rooms. Thank you again for your excellent service. I won't hesitate to recommend you to others.
I’ve always had great care here. They took such great care of my ferret, and they’ve been so kind and supportive as we get ready to say goodbye to our beloved pup. We have another dog who has been getting great treatments for her allergies and other ailments. I’m confident that as long as we live in the area this will be our primary care center for all pets we may yet have. Truly a compassionate team of model professionals.
Not a great experience.. decided to try this vet out because it’s closer to home. Brought my 7 year old male cat in, for a possible UTI / Blockage. Which can be life threatening, if it were to be a blockage or kidney issue. Well $800 later and 4 days later my cat was getting worse. Decided to get a second opinion, only to learn that they didn’t test the blood for BUN or SDMA which are very important in determining kidney disease. And the xray scan was only of his bladder and not (his private part) which was enlarged and purple which is not normal. Had I not taken him somewhere else I would’ve never got the answers or any clarity. This vet seems inexperienced and unwilling to do further diagnosis… Unrelated to this visit, (my fiancée who was out of town) had told me this was the same vet clinic, and the same doctor ( I believe his name is Dr Vivek Kalirawana) he took his puppy lab too 4 years ago, and because his lab injured his hip (popped out of place) and this same doctor told him to put him down and he’d have no quality of life.. thankfully my fiancé got a second opinion and a different vet said he would be fine. Sure enough, 3 days later his puppy was walking fine, and now 4 years later he runs and plays like no other ( non stop runs and plays ball all day) and hasn’t had any injuries since… I guess my point is, if you go here and don’t feel like you got the answers you’re looking for, i recommend going somewhere else.. the staff was friendly don’t get me wrong, but the judgement was not there.
