Vet at BlueRidge

I had scheduled an appointment for my cat to receive a check up. He had never been to the vet before, so I decided to come to this one due to good reviews and it being so close to me. The experience was routine and everything was going well until the doctor arrived in the room after my cat was treated. The doctor seemed very passive and almost like he did not care to be there. We all have our days, but his demeanor was off. He didnt introduce himself or anything. He told me that my pet was fine thankfully, but as he was speaking, he was literally walking out of the door as if he had other things to do, despite there literally being no other people upon arrival or leaving in the waiting area. He almost seemed impatient to get out of the room and stop talking with me. His attitude was not the best by any means. When I checked out, there was no rush for him to leave for because he was casually chatting with the staff about unimportant stuff. I really did want to give this vet a chance but unfortunately, this experience really wasn't the best and I will take my cat elsewhere where for any other vet visits.

Every single person that works for Vet at Blueridge is AMAZING!! I have been taking my dogs there for about 6 or 7 years now, and I don’t know what I would do without Dr Jones and Dr Farrah, and all the amazing techs and office staff!! They are extremely reasonable, don’t overcharge you for unnecessary procedures, they are straight forward and extremely knowledgeable and caring! This is the only vet I’ve ever felt true honesty and genuine compassion and care from. I can’t thank them enough for giving me peace of mind and unmatched care for my dog children. This place is amazing as far as general services but for a real emergency they are not very equipped. However they are very friendly and are willing to do whatever they can to help your pet get the meds they need for general health and check ups.

My mom used to take our dogs here when I was younger and now I take my dog here years later. I have been happy with them. Quick, kind, caring. Easy to talk to and explain. My dog has allergies and they could have prescribed an expensive medication, but an OTC pill works. Will continue to bring my first fur baby there 🙂

Yes, I am super happy to have found this veterinarian office which is right down the road from where I live. My girl gets so anxious being in the car. We just needed to find something close plus she’s a jack Russell and she could be kind of wiggly, but they gave her the best nail trim that I’ve had so far in the 2 years I’ve had her and my old skin really appreciates that so that she’s not scratching me up!!!!!

The best vet I've been to . Very empathetic and personable. I have been in search of one for quiet a while since moving. I highly recommend . They have an app you can use aswel to contact them. I took my cat tubby here , they did emergency surgery. They are great with financial options too.The vets take their time to explain things with you and personally keep in touch . I couldn't speak more highly about them and always recommend. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have my tubby and I'm so greatful

this office is one of a kind. Sad that Dr. Bunn won't be there much longer but still happy for her as well. I will be forever grateful for her and the staff that worked yesterday 9/27/19. they saved my big sweet lap dogs life. we will be using them from now on. they have been our go to vet for years!
