We have always used Southwood for our pets. Our dog Baylee was seen here by Dr Lieske from her time of adoption until her end of life. She always received wonderful care and the entire staff was very kind and compassionate. I always felt Baylee got the best care here until she passed away from cancer. I'd highly recommend this vet office and Dr Lieske for their pets care.

There truly aren’t enough words to express how incredible Southwood Animal Hospital is. The care and love they showed Sir Dutch Boy 2 is beyond phenomenal it’s genuine, compassionate, and heartfelt. From the moment my husband and our pup walked in, the entire staff treated him like family. They are attentive, patient, and you can feel how much they truly love what they do. My husband even forgot his phone at home. During the visit and without hesitation, the staff took pictures for me so I wouldn’t miss a moment. That level of thoughtfulness means everything. Side note…we had our OG Sir Dutch Boy last year as a puppy who sadly failed to thrive. Losing him was devastating. The compassion, grace, and empathy this team showed us during that heartbreaking time was immeasurable. They didn’t just care for our puppy:) they cared for us. In one of our hardest moments, they wrapped us in kindness we will never forget. Southwood Animal Hospital is more than a veterinary office. They are a team with caring hearts that show up fully for both pets and the families who love them. Forever grateful for them. 🐾❤️🐾

Southwood Animal Hospital is such a great clinic for your fur babies!! They’re so sweet and gentle with my dog, Lady. They have helped me so much in just the first visit alone. I highly recommend coming here. I’m a newer dog mom and don’t trust my girl with a lot of people but I definitely trust her with Southwood!!

Can't say enough good things about this animal hospital. Sarah was who answered and was just a total rock star how she handled everything and the doctor was also very amazing (Floyd). First time here and it was an emergency. They handled everything perfectly and i see why and how they have so many perfect 5 star reviews. The staff is super sweet and overall would absolutely recommend this Animal Hospital to anyone! Our vet is 3+ hours away and this place came is beyond clutch for me and my baby! Thank you all again so very much for taking care of little PeeWee!

If only I could give 100 stars. The team here has changed my view of humanity, by the sheer amount of it they demonstrated. They gave my best friend a second chance at life when all seemed hopeless. A special thanks to Dr. Floyd- her compassion and expertise made me feel safe that Weasel had the best Doc possible invested in his health. Another shout out to Roy for taking Weasel's claws but still treating him like a V.I.P. If you want the most loving care your pet can have, bring them here.
