Dr. Merola has taken excellent care of our cat Parker for twelve years, since he was a kitten, from regular visits to minor surgical procedures to the regular expressing of, shall we say, certain glands that, were I to attempt it, would draw back a stump. I have found her to be gentle and caring with our little guy, and very understanding with regard to scheduling when he sees the cat carrier coming and hides under the bed. I chose Dr. Merola simply because I knew where her office was the day a kitten came to my door, but it proved to be good one. Highly recommended.
Dr. Merola is kind and caring. She truly loves the animals and the people she works with. We would be lost without her!
I’ve been going to Dr. Merola for 15 years. Cowdiy was diagnosed with early kidney failure last fall. In December he contacted an infection that was taking over his body. Just when we thought he may not make it, Dr. Merola searched for the newest and best treatments—- and found one! That’s what she does! She loves our fur babies as much as we do, and will go to the end of the earth to help them to live very long, happy, healthy lives. Cowdiy is now 15 and thriving! Is I could see her as my PCP- I would!
Dr. Merola is always wonderful with my two dogs Panda and Leo. We love her practical approach to their care, and it's obvious she loves dogs.
Without any children of our own, our fur baby is our only child. I would not trust any other doctor with my baby boy! Dr. Merola is the smartest, with the most amazing temperament, and attentiveness with the animals when seeing them. If you’re call ncerned that her desk may be a mess... then your priorities are in the wrong place.
NO! Go anyplace else! Dr. Merola gave my 14 year old dog many vaccinations he did not need, and I did NOT authorize. This is a dog she KNEW had vaccine reactions in the past, and I declined them all every office visit. I was charged more than $100 for unwanted vaccines. Try Kindness Vet or Newton Animal Hospital.
Cold, uncaring and just in it to make $ What was really irritating is I corrected her 3x that my cat was a "she" and not "he",but never correxted herself. I had been through some financial hardships and she was aware but did not care. Gave my cat a $80 rx which she staryed in office (eye drops) so had to purchase. Left after $400. Switch to kindness and half that- more caring vets and not a freezing cold and dirty waiting roon. Also my cat doesnt get a tenth of the anxiety as she did here. Would not recommended at all.
