I took my dog to CVCA Cardiac Care in Waltham for an echocardiogram and I am so glad I did. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Scheduling the appointment was easy and timely, and once we arrived, the staff greeted us with warmth and professionalism. Everyone was personable, compassionate, and truly went out of their way to make the visit seamless. My dog can be quite anxious at the vet, but the team made him feel comfortable and cared for throughout the appointment. They explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and I felt reassured that my pet was in the best hands. Highly recommend CVCA Waltham for anyone needing specialized cardiac care for their pets—the combination of expertise and kindness here is unmatched
Dr. Duler, her assistant Justin, and the entire team were professional, compassionate, and truly attentive. When choosing a cardiologist for my dog, I had two non-negotiables: that she receive individualized, compassionate care—and that I be allowed to stay with her during scans to help ease her anxiety. Dr. Duler and her team fully met both expectations. What stood out even more was their openness to exploring treatment options beyond strictly conventional paths. As pet owners, we want a team that listens, collaborates, and is willing to thoughtfully consider all safe options to give our pets the best possible quality of life. I felt heard, supported, and completely comfortable asking questions throughout the visit. Another priority for me was transparency and access to information. While they don’t appear to use a patient app, the team has been excellent about promptly sharing test results via email. Having easy access to my dog’s medical information is incredibly important to me, and they made that seamless. I’m very grateful to have found a cardiology team that combines expertise, compassion, openness, and clear communication.
Staff were excellent. Very personable. Patient and gentle when handling the pet. The Dr wasn't rushed when talking to me and explained everything well. My only complaint is there is no sign out front. My GPS had me doing U-turns saying I had arrived. I finally had to call. They are in the same bldg as the Emergency Vet but there's no sign out front- only on the door which can't be seen from the street.
A little more expensive than other places, but worth it! My dog was having acute heart issue and regular vet recommended us to see a cardiologist for echocardiogram. I called around VCA and MSPA and their earliest appointment is one to two months away respectively. CVCA is a little far from my house but my dog needs to be seen so I called them anyway. They gave me an appointment the next week. Over joyed but still worried. After I finished their paperwork, that afternoon, they called me and said to bring my dog in the next morning because they were concerned about my dog. I really like how this works instead of just making an appointment and be on the waitlist for a sooner appointment. Facility is clean and staffs are very nice. Overall satisfied.
Dr. Duler is an exceptional cardiologist. She explains everything clearly, is incredibly kind and patient, and truly treats your pet like her own. I 100% trust and recommend her
Calm and caring environment for our dear Ziggy Graypants— minimum of stress and complete confidence in the evaluation of his cardiologist. We were happy to have quickly gotten and appointment— every other place we tried either didn’t respond at all or was booked way out. It’s a much happier holiday for us knowing Zig is fine for now and in good hands for his future care.
The staff is very gentle and kind. Dr. Dular is excellent and explained my dog's condition very thoroughly. You are with your dog the whole time they are being examined, so you can soothe and comfort them.
