Affordable Veterinary Services of VA

We had a fantastic first visit here. So much so that I decided to get all FOUR cats done the same day! I had intended to bring two and bring the other two the following month, but two cats cost me less than a regular visit to my local vet, so I registered and came back with the other two the same day. Every staff member was kind and caring. The registration process (online) was so easy. Strongly recommend Affordable Veterinary Services.

This place is so awesome. I recently got a kitten, who was a stray. I wanted to bring him to a vet immediately because of his unknown past. I checked same-day on the 'waitlist'. I had enough time to be able to leave work, grab my kitty, and make it to the vet appointment just in time. The front desk employees were super friendly and patient. The vet tech answered my numerous questions about my new kitty, reassured me, and gave me advice on what kind of food, litter, treatments, and affordable places to get him neutered. I left there feeling extremely confident, whereas before i was a nervous wreck about having a new kitten in my life. I was and am still so excited that a place like this exist, and that there are people who genuinely seem to enjoy their job and helping other people and animals. First time here & everyone was super helpful, we called multiple times and they were kind and informative, and also very affordable for our cat Phoebe. Kailee helped us at the front desk & made the experience very welcoming. Also great pet toy selection!

Great prices and customer service!!! Took my 2 cats there. I got on the waitlist at home and it was very easy. Once I got there I went in and told them I was there even though it sent a text asking if you were there or on the way. But I told them my cats were very scared of dogs and there were a few in there. The front desk lady said they needed me to submit their vaccine records and that the cats could get right behind the Counter with her and they would be safe. It was so sweet and she was so extremely helpful she got them in very fast. Once I got home though my one cat had a bad reaction to the routine shots, which was weird, but I was told it can happen with age, and when I called them back and told them that he had been puking they told me to come back and when I say they took care of him so good and put me out of worry, they truly did. They definitely have me as a returning customer!!! We should not be paying over $50 a pet for a rabies shot. Vet prices have gone so crazy and it’s all the same stuff. They have great prices and GREAT customer service. So glad my coworker told me about them!

I have 3 dogs and this place is awesome! They are so friendly and quick. It saves me so much money then taking them to their old vet for vaccines, testing and wellness exams. I would definitely recommend affordable vet!

Super happy. For $80, I got my cat microchipped, a 3-yr rabies booster, and a cute little tiger toy (she earned it). They have a virtual waiting room and once it's your turn, you have 20 minutes to check in in person. It was the perfect amount of time to wrangle my pet into a carrier and head over there. Everyone was really nice. I was in and out in less than 25 minutes on a Saturday. I'll definitely be bringing my cats here again.

I like the services offered the same day for basic care. The staff handles your pet and brings your pet back to you as you wait in the waiting room. It's a quick visit without a large bill. They communicate so you understand rather than using medical terminology that you have no idea what they are talking about. Also, monthly flea and tick preventative are lower cost compared to a vets office. I'm very satisfied.💗
