Miss Georgia had such an amazing first visit with the team at Animal Eye Care. Everyone was kind & gentle with Georgia from start to finish. Dr. Church was incredibly thorough, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, and took time to answer all of our questions. I’m so grateful to have found a place where I know my dog is getting the very best care. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

I traveled far many times to come to this highly trained vet veterinarian. I can’t even begin to tell you how excellent they are. Location so easy to get to. I had a cat with chronic eye issues, they always were so attentive to his needs. I honestly can’t say enough. Mr. T was given the best care possible by the staff here. I thank you.

Dr Church has been caring for my cat Gemma since January and I really appreciate the approach she took to her care. From the first visit she was communicative, kind, analytical and thorough. This was my first experience with an ophthalmologist and I like to learn, not just follow directions. I appreciate that Dr Church was happy to answer questions and never made our appts feel rushed. The clinic is clean, quiet and calming which is something I prioritize for my cats. The staff is always calm and kind. Gemma felt comfortable and at ease with Dr Church and the techs at every single visit. Despite thorough diagnostics and treatments, Gemma’s eye unfortunately could not be saved. Thankfully Dr Church was able to squeeze her in for enucleation on short notice. Normally I am a nervous wreck when my cats go into surgery, but I felt completely at ease knowing Gemma was in the care of people who were competent, cared about her and made her feel safe. I would not hesitate to bring any of my other babies to this clinic. Thank you Dr Church & team!

We are so incredibly grateful for Animal Eye Clinic in VA Beach. On a recent road trip we noticed some new eye issues with our pup, and the Furgent ER clinic referred us after seeing the pictures we emailed. Animal Eye Clinic saw us right away. Everything was clearly explained to us, and the entire staff was kind and professional. Grateful!!!

If your pet has eyeballs, Dr Nadelstein is your guy. He saw my dog on short notice and treated him with such care and calm you’d think we were the only patients on his schedule. My dog is completely obsessed with Dr Brad, apparently this is a side effect of excellent veterinary care. Move over chinchillas - Bear has officially claimed the top spot on Animal Eye Care’s fan list! 😍

Love this place ! The doctors are GREAT! They take amazing care of my 11.5 year old girl. 2 eye surgery's, complete care start to finish. They explain everything! 3/4/25 We had an emergency situation. Dr. Nadelstein was amazing, explained all the options and we have the best plan in place for "Cleo's" best outcome!
