I brought my dog Zuzu in for after hours care because she was coughing and had a very positive experience. The staff were all so kind and patient with us and her. They were also very transparent every step of the way and we left with detailed instructions for follow up and a care plan I felt confident in. I absolutely recommend this location to anyone in the area if you are unable to get an appointment at your primary care and your pet is stable enough to not need the ER.

The team at VCA Urgent Care was amazing! Our French Bulldog had a piece of grass stuck in her eye, and with her history of corneal ulcers, we knew she needed to be seen right away. They were able to get us in immediately and were so friendly and gentle with our dog, Stormi. The facility is spotless and very well maintained. I can’t recommend this team enough, thank you so much for taking such great care of our girl! 🐾

I come to this urgent care pretty often with my senior dog and always have the best experience. The vets, techs and pet concierge are always so kind and helpful. I've noticed this is one of the very few places where they try to keep the bill as low as possible and only recommended necessary exams or medications. The team also sends follow up texts/calls to check in on my dog days after each visit. I've usually been seen by Dr. DeLancey and Yasmeen and they really are the best in handling my dog's care. They both have really good bedside manner not just for my dog but for me as well. They always answer any and all questions I have and have been delicate when the news isn't so good. I really appreciate and rely on the VCA Tustin team.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service I received during my recent visit. From the initial phone inquiry, the level of care demonstrated by your entire team was truly remarkable. The check-in staff were professional, courteous, and displayed genuine empathy. The technician who attended to my pet demonstrated exceptional listening skills, taking careful note of my concerns and showing a sincere interest in understanding my pet's illness. Her attentiveness and professionalism were particularly commendable. Dr. Kayla's contribution deserves special mention. Her expertise, caring demeanor, and the provision of reasonable treatment options significantly eased a stressful situation. Her ability to manage the aggression displayed by my chihuahua was particularly impressive, highlighting her skill and experience. Her suggestions for ongoing care were insightful and clearly demonstrated a commitment to my pet's well-being. The entire experience was positive and greatly appreciated, particularly during a challenging time. I extend my gratitude to your exceptional staff and the high-quality facilities.

We went here for our labradoodle who had broken a nail. Our dog is a very high energy 1 year old puppy and was quite nervous. The woman who checked us in was very sweet and kind, but the vet we felt was very rude and passive the whole visit. As our dog was adjusting to the new place and new people and new smells, and was feeling very uncomfortable from her injury and was very nervous and barking a little bit (out of stress and fear not aggression). the vet basically told us if we aren’t training her to be a guard dog, we need to fix that. He had no emotion or compassion on us as first time dog owners just trying to understand our next steps. In the end, we paid a lot of money for the visit, meds and a cone (which was a very flexible and short cone that didn’t prevent her from licking). I also noticed that the sedatives they gave us which was supposed to keep her calm due to no walking or playing, wasn’t helping her energy much. When we visited our primary vet to check up, they ended up giving us some stronger sedatives because what we were prescribed at VCA was not strong enough for how high energy she is and we ended up paying for a new cone that fit her size. So we ended up paying way more money to basically replace a lot of what VCA had given us. I won’t be going back here.

Compassionate, caring and above amazing service! Back in Dec, my dog Boba had hurt her leg while playing fetch at the park, we waited a couple of hours thinking it was a sprain but she wouldn't put any weight on her leg. After 2-3 hours we decided to go to an Urgent Care. After frantically calling around, another Urgent Care actually recommended VCA Urgent Care - Tustin. I got lucky and was told that there was no wait time so I rushed over. They sent a text and I filled out the paperwork online, smooth process. Once I arrived at their office, I found it to be spacious and clean. They did the necessary exams and told us they were positive it was a torn ligament and she would need surgery. It was even recommended to not do an x-ray since the surgeon would do their own, so I could put the saved money towards her surgery. We were given some pain meds and anti inflammatory meds. Dr. Ahn even recommended a hospital that specializes in TPLO surgery and we were able to get a surgery date 2 days later. Dr. Ahn and Gianna even followed up to see how Boba was doing post visit. Very grateful for VCA Animal Hospital for having the same care level as any pet parent would have if their furbaby got injured. Hopefully we won't be coming back too soon.

If you’re looking at this review wondering if you should take your pet here - Do it. I brought my dog in for an emergency surgery after a brutal attack. I came into the office absolutely hysterical and couldn’t even speak from the trauma. They immediately assisted me and my dog. The kindness, attentiveness, and dedication they showed in his care was truly unparalleled—nothing like how I've been treated before. I can’t thank them enough for lending their care. Not to mention, the stitches are beautiful and so clean! Beautiful work by the team. VCA team, thank you for your dedication to patient care. I hope many continued blessings your way.
