I cannot thank Taylor Veterinary Emergency Clinic enough for the compassion and care they showed me during one of the hardest experiences I've faced as a breeder. Sadly, I lost seven of eight puppies to fading puppy syndrome, but the kindness, professionalism, and support I received from Liz, Dr. Heather, and Faith made an incredible difference. Dr. Heather took the time to thoroughly explain what was happening, answer my questions, and help me understand that I had done everything possible for my puppies. Liz and Faith were equally caring, patient, and supportive during an extremely emotional time. While the outcome wasn't what I hoped for, I left feeling informed, reassured, and confident that I had given my puppies every chance possible. If you're facing an emergency with your pets and need a team that genuinely cares, I highly recommend Taylor Veterinary Emergency Clinic. Thank you all for your compassion and excellent care.

Had to take my dog to Taylor for an allergic reaction. They took her back right away. They were very communicative through the entire process. I was happy with how quickly they handled what could have been a serious situation. Their office was clean and very calming. We will definitely go back for our emergency care needs.

I recently had taken my Frenchie there for the second time 2 seperate emergency. I had taking him to the Oakdale vet twice who did x-rays and we're not forthcoming the results when I took him here they were very upfront and honest and we went through all the options and unfortunately had to put Gizmo down the only thing was doing the paperwork and asking about the footprints an extra options that were clay paw print and Brass paw print and I said yes to all of it but then later seen I wasn't charged four any of it. that was the only thing otherwise the staff was very very nice and sympathetic upfront and honest and I really appreciate it I would love to give a shout out to the doctor she was great but I can't find her name anywhere and I was too emotional I think to remember it!! But I do want to tell her thank you

On a positive note they did get our cat in quickly. Originally, the bill was $1700 for X-rays and an ultrasound. However, when we requested to leave our cat for overnight observation, they returned with an estimate of $8000!! So basically $6000 for less than one night (it was already past midnight) and our kitty only needed oxygen until we were able to do further diagnostics. $6000 just for an overnight stay!!! Total highway robbery and fraudulent!! Then they tried to push us towards euthanasia or an expedited trip to emergency surgery in Sacramento to the tune of $10k minimum. It felt like a total pressure crunch to make a very expensive decision. Ultimately, we opted to have our kitty sedated with something to make him comfortable and brought him back home with us. He is resting peacefully at the moment. We will bring him to his regular vet first thing in the morning. This just confirms my belief that emergency vet visits are insanely overpriced with catastrophic diagnoses and/or consequences. So glad we didn’t get sucked into the pressure crunch they tried to put us under financially and to euthanize our baby!! Even the vet couldn’t justify $6k for observation.

The staff were very helpful and kind from the moment we arrived. They took my dog back right away, which really helped ease my stress. The environment was very calm and welcoming, and even the room we were taken into had soothing bird background noises that made the whole experience more relaxing. I truly appreciated how gentle and caring everyone was. I would definitely recommend this pet hospital.

I took my dog Prada here during one of the hardest moments of my life, and I left feeling heartbroken not only from losing her, but from the lack of compassion and support I received from the veterinarian. From the beginning, the doctor kept insisting that I put my dog to sleep, even after I repeatedly said I did not want euthanasia and wanted to continue trying treatment. Instead of reassuring me or telling me they would do everything possible for her, I was told things like "I’ll be praying she makes it" and "I might call you that she passed away the way she is." As a pet owner desperately trying to save my dog, those comments felt incredibly cold and discouraging. I agreed to pay for electrolytes and medication for 12 hours so I could continue caring for Prada at home afterward. About 40 minutes after I left, I received a call that she had passed away. The doctor never personally came out afterward to offer condolences or explain things with compassion when I picked up her body. Then I was quoted another very expensive amount for cremation after already paying over $1,000. When I said I would take Prada home instead, the receptionist told me the doctor could cremate her "for free right now" and hold the ashes until I saved money. At that point I no longer felt comfortable. I understand not every animal can be saved, but bedside manner and compassion matter deeply during moments like these. I left feeling unheard, pressured, and emotionally unsupported while saying goodbye to a dog I loved for 7 years.

I am extremely disappointed with the care my mother's dog received at this clinic. We brought her in because she was actively vomiting, suffering from diarrhea, and unable to keep down food or water. Despite being fully aware of her condition, the clinic sent her home with oral medications that she was unable to keep down. No IV fluids were provided, and her condition worsened significantly the following day, forcing us to seek care elsewhere. To make matters worse, we later learned that the dosage of medication she was sent home with appeared inappropriate for her small size. As pet owners, we trusted that the medications and dosages being prescribed were safe and appropriate. Learning that there were concerns about the dosage only added to our worry and frustration. What is most frustrating is the lack of communication and accountability. We were under the impression that certain treatments had been provided, only to later discover discrepancies in what was actually administered. We have also been told after the fact that hospitalization was recommended, but that was never clearly communicated to my mother during the visit. Had she been properly informed that her dog's condition was serious enough to require hospitalization, she would have taken immediate action. When we sought a second opinion, we were advised that injectable anti-nausea medication, antibiotics, and supportive care should have been considered given the symptoms our dog was experiencing. Instead, she was sent home with oral medication despite being unable to keep anything down. We attempted to resolve our concerns directly and professionally with the clinic before sharing our experience publicly. Unfortunately, rather than acknowledging our concerns, our request for a refund was denied. Pet owners trust veterinary clinics during some of the most stressful moments imaginable. We expected compassionate care, clear communication, and appropriate treatment. Instead, we were left with a much sicker dog, significant emotional distress, and additional veterinary expenses to address issues that we believe should have been handled appropriately from the beginning. I encourage anyone considering this clinic to ask detailed questions, request copies of all treatment records, and carefully review the care plan and medications being recommended for their pet.
