Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital

MV took care of my sweet Penny Lane until her last breath. Thank you Dr. Cassidy and Dr. Lee for being honest, supportive, and empathetic towards end of life care for a senior cat. While it has been the hardest few weeks of my life, I am grateful for the services provided here and the human support I received even in the final moments. Maybe one day we’ll be back with a new friend with paws but for now, I’ll be basking in the memory of my Penny girl. Thank you.

We have had the BEST treatment at Monte Vista small animal Hospital. We have had to use them twice for different reasons because they were the ones that were able to handle our pets needs. We have been so lucky to have found them. The staff is so kind, caring, professional, and thorough. From the staff at the front desk to the very informative doctors and the speed of which they take care of your animal. I highly recommend them for any needs, and they offer emergency services. If I could give 10 stars I would. They took such good care of my dog Dane. I went from bringing him in after being attacked by pit-bulls and in really bad shape. I was desperate and with little hope of him surviving to leaving with my dog walking and happy to come home. The women there are absolutely amazing and I would 100% recommend this location. The vet, a gentleman named Dr. Villegas was amazing. Very thorough, straightforward and honest. Will be requesting him for future vet checkups with dane and my sphynx cat from now on. A comforting part of my dog being there is the multiple employees coming to me to tell me how good and wonderful my sweet boy Dane is. This place truly cares about the pets that come in. They cheered as my dog walked out because they were happy to see him leaving in good health. They left hearts on him for valentines day and it was just melted my heart.

I saw on Facebook that this kitty needed help. It was just beautiful with a huge wound in its side. I live in Waterford and called the local vet. They could not see the kitty. I drove to Turlock to Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital. They were understanding and a lady vet examined the kitty. She gave me options for care. The kitty was only months old and needed surgery. They kept him overnight, tested him, negative, and did surgery. This beautiful little boy will have a long, happy life thanks to Monte Vista.

We recently had a cat adopt us as a family. She well we didn't know it was as she really until after the visit, was anywhere between six and one years old. Seeing how she has been at our house inside and outside and hangs out a lot we decided to make sure she was vaccinated and see if she was chipped. When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff and checked in immediately. We had approximately a five minute wait with a cat in a crate. There were no problems. It was a really nice wait time. Staff immediately identified the cat is being female and pregnant. They offered and performed an ultrasound for free to verify that our young cat, approximately one year-old, was pregnant with at least four kittens. They did not try to upsell me on anything or overcharge me. I did insist on buying the kitten plan, even though we can't vaccinate while she's pregnant but as soon as she's done, weaning or vaccinated. Again, staff was very friendly, very helpful and put us at rest for taking care of our new family member. Thank you very much to all the staff and the doctor for taking care of us and our new.

From the first phone call everyone was so nice and it was so easy to get my little kitty scheduled without any problems, the girls are great with answering any questions and definitely make it happen! Very reasonably cost and convenient, no other services are pushed on you but they let you know that they're available if you ever need. My kitty got out of surgery and everything went great ! I will definitely be bringing my other kitties here as well and definitely recommend!

Cat treatment for upper respiratory infection was done within 20 minutes. I appreciated the quick info regarding if a guest dog could be infected! Reassurance given. It’s a bit of a trip from my home to the clinic, and I hope one day there could be a closer Monte Vista clinic to my location. Thanks!
