We had a pet emergency and Dr Kohn called us back within an hour of us leaving him a message, and on a weekend. He came out the same day and was able to perform surgery on our dog in our living room! He was very knowledgeable and made our pet and us feel at ease. Hope we don't ever need to use him for an emergency again, but if so he would be our choice! He also gave us some great advice while treating our pet. Very pleased from start to finish!

This past weekend was not easy. Our handsome prince of 15 years had to cross the rainbow bridge and we needed help with that. Doc came out with in a few hours of us calling and was very professional. He was kind to our boy and respectful. For the situation having to be what it was he made it as pleasant as it could be and we are grateful for that.

Putting a beloved family member down is one of the hardest choices a pet owner has to make. Doing so as peacefully and humanely as possible is the goal. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Ken Cohn fell short of that. Please be aware that what follows may be triggering. Dr. Cohn questioned and argued the breed and weight of our family dog, Lucy (who DNA testing confirmed was 100% pit), which felt unnecessary and insensitive during such an emotional moment. What is truly unforgettable is what happened after Lucy had passed. When offered her blanket to take her with him, Dr. Cohn declined and instead stated he would put her in a bag. My poor mother had to witness her best friend’s head dangling out of a black trash bag, while my father had to help carry her to the car. Our beloved pets are not trash!! No pet owner should ever have to see their companion treated this way. This experience was deeply upsetting and completely avoidable.

My 15 1/2 year old pittie had to be put down due to her age and health, I found Dr. Cohn online and sent him an email and he replied in a timely manner and asked for me to call. I gave him details of what was going on with my baby, he informed me of what my options were and costs. He was able to come out the same day to my home so she was comfortable and not scared. I chose to do in home service and him to take her after for cremation to be returned to me along with her paw print. It took a little longer than projected to get her back by a few days but that was okay because I was just really missing her and wanted her back home ASAP. I was very pleased with the work Dr. Cohn did and appreciate him coming to my home.

He seemed very rushed when he came to put our dog down. He was impersonal. He did not explain what he was doing or ask us if we were ready, or walk us through the process as you might expect when putting an animal down. Very much lack of sympathy and empathy, He just seemed cold and indifferent. Also, he carried a large dog out of the house on a sheet with the help of the owner. Overall, not very professional or humane. I would not recommend him for putting your pet down.

A very difficult decision was made for our Ruca . Monday Sept 1st . It was the Labor Day holiday but there was no extra fee. There was a place I called before Dr Ken and their cost was very high PLUS a fee for it being a holiday . I’m so glad I didn’t work with them ! He also showed up very quickly the other place could not come until very late in the day . When I called back to them not 10 mins later the 2 appointments they had were filled ! The angels watched over us is all I can say. Dr Ken was gentle and professional. The fact that we didn’t have to put her in the car and take her to a place she didn’t know is priceless. Do yourself and your pet a favor and call this man. You won’t regret it.

Dr.Cohen is an absolute GEM of a human. I established care knowing my cats were in renal failure. He comes to your home so sick scared kitties don't have to go in the car. He kept them alive another 5 years. When it was time, he completely understands his assignment. Kind, and respectful. We've done dental surgery and kitten care now i have new babies. He's the best Dr!!!! Old school no nonsense.
