Thank you so much Dr. Peress, Jess and staff for taking such great care of Roman! We needed a neutral party well check of our 10 year old Golden. Dr Peress went above and beyond to ensure Roman is comfortable and explained everything, taking her time and pausing for questions we had, the visit and everything done was well worth it ! Dr. Peress even called us and let us know about Librela side effects, we want to give Roman the best outcome in his golden years. We appreciate the onsite labs and courtesy services offered through mobile. I had to drive to the office as well to get the Librela in an ice pack and the staff was more than welcoming! Thank you for your time!

We had to make the hard decision to put down our old boy. The at home service provided by Desert Paws was exactly what we needed as he was unable to walk very much anymore and was in a lot of pain. The care provided was compassionate, calm, genuine, and so efficient as well. Thank you for what you all do and for spending so much time making sure he was comfortable, and we were as well.

Dr. Hartle and staff at Desert Paws Mobile Veterinary Care were truly a blessing during one of the hardest moments of our lives. Making the decision to choose euthanasia for our beloved Rocko was the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do. Dr. Hartle as well as Amy & Autumn who helped with scheduling and answering all my questions, all approached everything with such compassion, patience, and gentleness that it brought us a sense of peace. Being able to say goodbye to Rocko in the comfort of his home made all the difference. The entire experience felt calm, respectful, and beautiful, and it was exactly what he deserved in those final moments. Even though it was an unfortunate reason to meet with the team at Desert Paws, I’m so grateful it all happened the way it did. Thank you, Dr. Hartle & team, for giving us such a peaceful moment to honor and say goodbye to our longtime family member. We will always be thankful.

Dr. Erika Hartle was kind and compassionate and brought peace to my family in such a hard time. Euthanasia is never easy but I’m glad my pet was able to experience such a peaceful passing, thanks to Dr. Hartle. I would highly recommend this service to anyone facing this decision with their pet.

I contacted Desert Paws for one final appointment with my dog. I had a number of delays with end of life care, first losing my job, then a canceled appointment with another mobile vet. Desert Paws was my last call, with compassion and thoughtfulness as we scheduled. And patience as I confirmed the appointment, called with questions, asked what the process would be like in the 10 days preceding this appointment. This was a difficult decision, where my dog's physical and behavior declines told me I had to do this for her comfort. I cried the nights before the appointment. We had a really good last week. I did not want this appointment. Dr. Hartle arrived, accommodating re-routes and escorts to manage another behavior dog's comfort on the property. I was already a mess, emotionally. My sweet girl was incredibly nervous around her. Dr. Hartle answered my questions, walked me through the process. There was no reassurance of "this is the right choice," no rushing, enough distance between her and my pup where we spent our final moments together. It was a good passing, it was a process that was about me and my dog. I was allowed to feel and tell my dog "I'm here, I love you." I cannot thank Desert Paws enough for the peace that this appointment brought. My grief is in the loss of a beautiful life and light that my dog had, not in being unable to give her a dignified end that was about her feeling safe. Thank you, Dr. Hartle, for the peace and kindness you granted us. Thank you for allowing me to lay flowers over her, for helping me carry her, and giving me the time to say goodbye. Thank you for helping me with paw and nose prints. The work you do is incredibly hard, but how thankful I am that you made this the process I needed, and the peaceful transition my sweet girl needed.
