Arizona Spay Neuter

We had our 7-month-old Golden Retriever spayed at Arizona Spay & Neuter Clinic yesterday, and we’re very happy with the care she received. This is the second dog we’ve trusted them with, and both experiences have been excellent. Heather Knight is someone I completely trust with my pets. Leaving your dog for surgery is never easy, but I feel comfortable knowing she’s in Heather’s care. Her genuine compassion for animals is clear. Everyone at the clinic was kind, professional, and helpful. Our puppy is recovering well, and we’re grateful for the excellent care she received. I highly recommend Arizona Spay & Neuter Clinic for affordable, quality pet care. Thank you, Heather and the entire team, for taking such good care of our girl!

Fantastic people work here and the prices are great! I got my new cat neuter, chipped, tested, and vaccinated there and they were amazing, especially with his aftercare needs. The only reason it's 5 star is it was a pain to go back three weeks later and get his vaccine boosters. They state 1-4pm as the hours for their vaccine clinic. I arrived at 3:55pm and they stated last vaccinations are at 3:50pm. Then another day they said need to be there before 3:30pm. They need to update their hours and be more consistent with it.

UPDATE: I’ve updated my review based on the frequency of interactions I’ve had with Arizona Spay & Neuter since my initial visit. This veterinary office is extremely clean and spacious, plenty of seating for large numbers of visitors. They offer services for families on a budget. I pick up meds for my foster dog monthly, which I never have to wait for and the staff is always courteous. I have been very pleased with the level of care and commitment from the team at AZ Spay & Neuter.

I was very impressed. I got in before appt time and Dr Twiddy was very knowledgeable. The office visit cost and full senior cat labs were significantly lower, and I checked several vets. They actually do labs in house and gave me copies. It was very clean and staff was professional. The only negative is no restroom for pet parents to use.

When dropping off our 73 lb. Baby we were very anxious when arriving to a waiting room full of barking dogs. Or baby was very nervous and agitated so I sat consoling him and talking to him. The associates were great the process was smooth and seamless. In getting in our vehicle I said to my husband imagine being those ladies up front, you start your day with a lobby full of barking dogs and your day ends with the same! So Thank you ladies for being calm, friendly and efficient!!!!

They do not answer the phone. I attempted to book online and they simply declined my request to make an appointment. Then when I finally got ahold of them they were short and annoyed I needed an appointment for vaccinations as I did not have availability during their walk in hours of 1pm-4pm. I finally got an appointment for the following morning. Unexpectedly I had a large amount of money leave my account, making it impossible for me to pay for the upcoming appointment. I messaged them first thing in the morning when they opened, as once again they would not answer the phone. 3 hours prior to my appointment. They would not reschedule me without a 30$ non refundable booking fee for canceling less then 24hours prior to my appointment. I didn't even make the appointment 24hours prior to the cancelation. Nor was I told about this policy.

The staff is professional and caring. My dog had a dental cleaning and extraction done. I couldn't be happier with them. She recovered quickly and without issue. There were no unnecessary charges as I have paid in the past when my previous vet extracted the same number of teeth. I wish I could list the vet clinic that charged me more than twice what I paid for this procedure. I will and have already referred Arizona Spay and Neuter to others.
