My 16 mo chocolate lab had been sick with stomach/GI issues. The intake person was thorough when asking about signs/symptoms and immediately alerted the vet. They had me bring him right in and we saw Dr Courtney and her assistant Iniquah. . Dr Courtney was amazing with her explanation of her examination and thoughts about what could be going on. Before we proceeded with any xray and labs, Dr Courtney and assistant Iniquah went over the cost of each item and were considerate of my budget. The cost of the xray and labs were very reasonable and comparable to a privately owned clinic close by. The care and attention my dog and I received was incredible. They communicated everything throughout the visit, educating me on what was going on and how to proceed when I took my dog home at the end of the day. The entire staff from the front desk, Dr Powell and other vet assistants was so kind and positive. This was a great experience overall and I would recommend anyone to this practice. Thank you to all of the staff at DeKalb Animal Hospital, especially Dr Courtney and her lovely assistant Iniquah.

I have been coming toDl Dekalb.Animal hospital for the last eleven years. I have brought all my babies here, past and present. I've always had top notch servuce, caring and consistent staff who have lasted for years.Doctor Courtney and company are excellent veterinarians. Even when my babies have passed on, I will continue to bring future babies to this wonderful establishment.

We had an unexpected visit for our bulldog, Cola, and the care we received was outstanding. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the medical team took amazing care of Cola. Everyone was compassionate, professional, and made a stressful situation so much easier. We’re really grateful to have them as our regular vet.

I've been coming to Dekalb Animal Hospital since I adopted my furbaby Mocha in 2018. I used to live in Tucker, and they were super convenient drive...and even though I've since moved to Atlanta and now it takes me 45 minutes to get there...it's worth it! I LOVE the 5-star service the vets and staff provide --- always friendly, answers your questions, medication prescription updates, keeps you informed on shots/etc (they will email, call and send postcard reminders) and treats my stubborn dog well! They know his protective/biter personality and we've had many many visits here...it's rare to find a place that you can feel comfortable leaving your dog here for any procedure/shots/dental surgery/grooming etc. The place is clean and nicely decorated for any pet owner (dog or cat). Their parking lot is large enough to accommodate multiple customers, never had an issue. Plus, it's right next to a Dunkin Donuts...so while you're waiting or dropping off your pet, you can grab some food! Also outside is a bench to sit at, a nice koi pond and space to walk your dog around to do their business. Wonderful A+ recommend!

Totally enjoyed my appointment at Dekalb Animal Hospital! My dog is pretty difficult, so I was nervous about today’s appointment, but we walked out feeling like we’re in good hands for the rest of his life! Dr. K. Reid was so thorough and did a complete check over of everything- full body check, vaccines, bloodwork, fur, skin, paws, nails, ears - truly head to toe! She went over medications and explained why, how often, and dosage. Totally took charge of the appointment and care of my dog; she was confident in the direction he needed to go in and how we should treat him moving forward. The front desk and technicians were super welcoming and friendly! Shout out to Danielle and Iniquah - thank you so much for the care and love you showed Griffin! My consultation with Amanda the groomer was so helpful! Super convenient that she made herself available during my appointment. We can’t wait for our Groom! She you in 10 days for a recheck!

Thank you for taking good care of our cat Hermiona. She had revised spaying (first spaynig done in the other hospital). Since she was born with one kidney, we were little bit more concerned because any surgery for her is an additional risk. Dr Dixon took a good care of her, and she is recovering amazingly. Thank you!

I have a pretty old puppy, who fortunately has not needed much vet care over the years--so it had been awhile since we went. However as she is getting older she has been much more anxious. I was able to set an appointment for within the same week. They really spent time with her and I. I felt heard and not judged. I told them around where my budget was and they helped me to prioritize what was needed immediately and what could wait. They have since followed up with me, they respond very quickly. Truthfully the best experience I've ever had at the vet. And my doggo's new auntie Kai at the front desk--was welcoming from first contact, to checking us in and out. Will definitely be recommending y'all.
