Tempe Veterinary Hospital

I've been going here for about a year (after I learned the hard way how important it is to have a 2nd opinion on the health of a loved one). I can't overstate how important it is to have a resource like this in my community. I genuinely think there should be municipal funding for places like this. Rick Wells DVM really knows and has great rapport with animals. His staff are amazing and their facility is ginormous. There's a big dog yard in the back, there's a dog vs. cat waiting area (separated by fascinating fish tanks and a beautiful bird named Bozo). I'm really grateful in particular for our relationship with Rick as Ruby's vet before we got into a terrible accident involving the very large teeth of a neighbor's troubled dog. I drove Ruby to Doctor Wells immediately and they were able to rule out a lung puncture and internal bleeding by taking a series of X-rays over the span of the morning and afternoon. We got her stitched up and home the same day. Ruby is now walking and eating good. I'm so grateful for the excellent care and service of Rick Wells DVM and his team!

Hey hey hey! This place has a great staff and the main vet is great as well. They've helped us through ACL injuries on our older 11 mini Aussie Charlie. Surgery went great as well. 11/10!

I took my cat to them. They kept him for observation and to run tests for a week. Then I ‘m told that they can’t do anything for him. He will live in pain and it’s best to put him down. They charge too much. Plus I found out that someone else’s cat had the same problem and had surgery. I wish I would’ve taken my cat to another hospital for a second opinion. I would have still had my cat. I miss him so much,

We all know that our pets are our babies. The team at Tempe Veterinary Hospital are exceptionally awesome when caring for your loved ones. TVH and I had longstanding relationship since 2011. If you want good service this is the place to go!

Took excellent care of my dog when she was horribly ill and needed emergent surgery. The staff bonded with her and were genuinely concerned about her well being. They have a bird that will greet you when you come in, very cool! They also groom your animals, which is great for those that have difficulty getting along with strangers. Only one group and place to get to know instead of two.

They helped save my pups life. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. My family is so grateful for your staff.

I highly recommend Tempe Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Wells is truly an amazing vet, and he is always wonderful with my dog. He takes the time to explain things thoroughly and shows how much he cares for his patients. I always feel confident that my dog is getting the best care available.
