Epic Specialty & Emergency Pet Care - Tampa Pet ER

This is my second experience with Epic, and once again, it was outstanding. Dr. Curry is truly the best surgeon. He makes you feel completely comfortable, takes the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, and genuinely gets to know both you and your dog. You don’t feel like just another client, you feel like family, and he treats you that way. My little boy Buck had TPLO surgery on his left leg last summer, and this time it was his right. Because of the incredible care we received the first time, there was no question we would come back to Dr. Curry. I’ve already recommended a friend who has since used him, and I would confidently recommend him to anyone. And it’s not just Dr. Curry, the entire team is exceptional. Jack is amazing, and everyone who answers the phones is kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They all take their time and make you feel at ease every step of the way. I truly can’t say enough great things about Epic. Thank you, Dr. Curry and the entire team. We’ll see you in eight weeks for Buck’s check-up.

I found out at 130 today that my dog had cancer, I called epic right after and they were able to get me in at 330 same day! Leslie was my first point of contact when call and she was amazing. Immediately made sure she had all the info to get all his records. Dr Josh was absolutely wonderful. He made me feel great about my decision to start chemo that same day. Her tech meg was equally amazing. She showed concern the entire time and made sure I knew I could contact her at any time with questions. Tiffany was great at check out as well and made sure I had all the info I needed for my future appointment. It's not easy when you find out your pup has cancer but this office makes it a lot easier to handle. Would highly recommend this office. They don't just handle cancer. They are also a 24hr emergency vet

It's never good if you have to be at a specialty clinic or emergency hospital, but if you do, Epic is a lovely place to be. Every person, from the front desk to the doctor, is kind and thoughtful and at the top of their game. The gentleness with my pets was so appreciated as were the clear explanations of the medical issued and the treatment options. I have no reservations in recommending Epic--hands down the best! Thanks Dr. Josh and team 🙂

Can’t recommend this place enough. They cared for my dog when he had consumed a lethal amount of dark chocolate and they saved his life. They were kind and compassionate and gave us regular updates when he was hospitalized. He’s back to himself again. We will be forever grateful to the Drs, medical staff, and full team. His sister is so happy to have him home.

Epic surgery and oncology has showed such compassion and professionalism with me and my pet with the tragic situation our family has encountered recently. My greyhound, Remsen, broke his leg while playing and Dr. Raz Peress amputated his leg a few days after. His pain was so well managed that he was able to get up within a few hours of the surgery which I was baffled and so impressed by. Unfortunately it was found the reason why he broke his leg was due to cancer, but we were set up with Dr Josh in the oncology department and he started his first chemo injection yesterday. His beside manner and blatantly obviously care for his patients is an inspiration. I have so many good things to say about epic for giving me more time with my bestest boy ❤️

Amazing experience at EPIC Specialty & Emergency Pet Care! We had an after-hours emergency when our dog ingested multiple sanitary products. The team was ready for us when we arrived, took him back immediately, and explained everything clearly. They kept us updated the entire time and were incredibly kind and professional. The care was outstanding and the pricing was very reasonable. I truly appreciated how honest and transparent they were. Huge thank you to Dr. Brady and nurses Courtney and Katelyn for their excellent care. We felt our dog was in the best hands possible. Highly recommend!

We are so happy we found Epic. It is evident that everyone there loves animals. Our cat was diagnosed with lymphoma and we came in a for a consultation with Dr. Joshua Lachowicz (Dr. Josh) and knew he was the best medical oncologist for our sweet kitty. He is knowledgeable and caring and spends the time to discuss the cancer and the thought process for the treatment. Megan, the oncology nurse, is wonderful! She cuddles our baby like he is hers and is great with us as well. Tiffany has also been very helpful and kind. Everyone here really goes above and beyond to care for your pets and the owners. The atmosphere is also very calming. I would highly recommend Epic for oncology, any speciality, and emergency care. We travel about an hour to see them and it is more than worth it. They are the absolute best!
