This veterinary clinic and its staff are top notch. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. Dr Meleleo provides exceptional care and support. The whole staff including Dr Meleleo spends time explaining the care and answers all questions. They are very responsive to follow up questions and returns all calls. They are helpful over the phone and asks detailed questions in order to provide the right support. I have taken my pets to various clinics and this is one of the best. They treat your canine family members like their own.

I’ve been bringing all of my large breed dogs to Pleasant Plains Animal Hospital for over 10 years, and they have always been amazing. The veterinarians are knowledgeable, caring, and truly take the time to make sure my dogs receive the best care possible. It’s important to me to have a team I can trust, and they’ve consistently been there for us through every stage of our dogs’ lives. The staff is also always kind, helpful, and welcoming. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate and reliable veterinary care.

Had dogs my whole life, lived all over and went to ALOT of different vets. This one is the best by a long shot. The staff actually cares and actually helps. Especially post surgery or post visit. They want to help and they go out of their way to follow up with you and check in. Very good after care for my puppy who had surgery. For that I’m locked in with them for life. 10/10 service. Thank you guys you are the best !

Every staff member at Pleasant Plains from the wonderful staff at the front desk to the technicians to the nurses and the vets, All of them are just amazing! From start to finish, you will never be disappointed. My dog has got many issues going on. She is 15 years old and she had to be hospitalized there. I could not ask for a more amazing loving, kind and knowledgeable team that works around the clock to ensure the well-being of our pets. I highly recommend pleasant Plains to anyone with any type of pet. I have sat in their waiting room many times and watch many different types of animals come in the door and the amount of love that is shown to every animal and customer that walks in the door is amazing. Let’s start by saying, I’ve been going here for 7 years. My recent visits I’ve been going in for annual vaccine shots and every time they try and add extras to boost my bill (maybe cause ive been going once a year). They know you cherish your pets so they will make you feel bad for not doing a teeth cleaning (they estimated for 3k). Another experience. My dog was experiencing frequent UTIs. The solution was a surgery on her private area, my solution, I Realized she was drinking out of old water and probably building up bacteria. They always go the $$$ route instead of common solutions that might be the right thing but make them 0 dollars. Do your research before choosing a vet cause this place does not care about your pet, only your pockets.

Have been here multiple times and I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. They have no issue taking your time and your money. Every single visit I have waited over an hour past the appointment with not even so much as a sorry. While I understand you may be backed up its absolutely incredible to wait over an hour and a half for vaccinations. I took my dog in for potentially having a blockage. They sedated him and did the ultrasound on him, except after doing the ultrasound they told us that "they wont have anyone able to review it until monday and that we should go to [insert another terrible vet service in tinton falls here]." Why even recommend the procedure if you have no one to interpret the data for 2 days. After readily and happily taking over $1000 they told us "just do it again with the previously mentioned er vet in NJ as they have better imaging equipment and will be able to interpret the data immediately". Find a place who's passion is the animals and not the money to be made treating them.

i’ve been bringing my pets here for a while, but i just had my kitten spayed here and they were so wonderful. a huge thank you to everyone here and for being so kind, thank you so much to everyone here for taking such great care of little kiki. i had work the next day when i had to pick her up and they were very accommodating to let me pick her up after i got out. honestly, everyone here is so accommodating. spays are so common, but i did have a cat pass away at a different vet afterwards and it stuck with me. i was so nervous for my little kiki, but they sent updates and informed me of everything going on. thank you so so so much! i would and will recommend this place to anyone that has a pet that they love!
