VCA St. Clair Shores Animal Hospital

Vca SCS took great care of my little gal and still continues to. The club we are enrolled in is great and really helped me to get my animal what she needed and needs for a decent monthly price.. just ask them about it and they will explain ☺️

The team at VCA Saint Clair Shores is excellent! I took my pup, Sully, to see Dr. Taylor from the time Sully was 2-months old until he was 4. Dr. Taylor is the dog whisperer! I’d watch Sully as he would lay down in the waiting room, tail wagging as he’d watch for footsteps under the door—for his best buddy. Each time Sully would leave happy and healthy. The whole VCA team was so helpful as I learned to be a good dog mom; they were always willing to give me step by step instructions, or answer my novice questions. Sully and I will miss this special little team when we relocate. I highly recommend this spot for any new dog owners!

The best vet clinic I have ever been to! Everyone at this location is so thoughtful and genuinely care about your pets. I’ve taken my two cats here for years now for regular check-ups, sick appointments, etc. and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr. Taylor is the absolute best - he takes the time to explain everything to you, which is especially reassuring when you’re trying to figure out what is best for your pet. Every staff member has always been very helpful (on the phone & in person), but a special shout out to vet tech Marla and Dr. Taylor for their amazing empathy and skills!

I had no issues when I went here. It was my first time going to this vet, I was concerned about my dog, and every single person I interacted with was friendly, professional, and kind. Everything went smoothly and they figured out what was wrong and gave me what I needed to help her. My dog was so nervous, but they were so friendly to her and calm with her, and I could not be more thankful that I came here.

I took my newly adopted cat here today and had a great experience. The techs were awesome and the Vet was very nice. I didn’t wait too long, they explained services in detail, and everything was affordable. I’ll definitely be back.

This is the third time where I’ve almost run out of my dog’s medication because the autoship did not arrive in time. I’ve had to ask them to write a script that would last her until the autoship arrived several times. This has cost me so much extra unnecessary stress and money because I don’t want my girl to have to go through withdrawal. Each time I’ve expressed urgency and the harmful effects of withdrawing medication and it keeps happening. I’m trying to give my girl a better quality of life but unfortunately it feels like it’s not reciprocated at VCA.
