Springdale Animal Hospital

I just used this vet for a checkup, rabies shot and spay of my cat and I can not believe how unprofessional this place is. The front desk ladies are super nice but the actual vets are awful. He just came in and didn’t even tell me his name and then started giving the cat shots immediately and 1 of which I didn’t even know what it was. Her spay was butchered and her staples look like a toddler did them. I had a 8 month old kitty pass in January and because of her sickness I visited ALOT of vets and I can say confidently I will never recommend this vet. Awful. They tested her for worms and said negative. This morning she is vomiting worms. Ridiculous

We took our fur babies to have their nails trimmed today…. All 5 of them. We’ve used Springdale Animal hospital for many years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Everyone is nice and helpful. We have 4 dachshunds and a chihuahua. We’ve always been very well taken care of…. From major hernia surgery to just lil having our girls fixed. Can’t go wrong here!!

We have an English bull terrier. Vets and Staff have been amazing! We have been using them since 2011. Very caring and informative. They ALWAYS show us estimates before doing anything. We have never had a negative visit or phone calls. They always greeted and welcomed us. Staff even came around the corner to greet and ask how our furbaby was doing! Love y’all!

I have been very hesitant to making this review however it is best to warn other people on bringing their dog here. First of all I am only giving 2 stars for the super sweet receptionists who was very understanding and let us have time with our baby girl even after it was time for them to close before she got cremated and one of the vet techs who made arrangements with us to bring her in when she was very anxious. However, I did not catch her name but one of the Drs while she was giving us updates on her surgery would give us sarcastic comments that were very unimportant and insensitive. Me and my family were clearly worried and only caring about our dogs surgery. Highly unprofessional and weird! When I received the call that she passed I asked the Dr if they were able to do CPR atleast and he said no due to them being worried she would get aggressive towards them but then another vet tech said she was awake and all of a sudden when they checked on her she passed. Which one is a lie and which is the truth? Communication skills clearly lack! Overall, it sucks that there are sweet people in this veterinary and people who just make unnecessary comments that ruin the place.

My dog has been favoring her paws and developed a horrible cough this summer. After a couple of visits, her allergies are under control and her kennel cough has finally run its course. Dr. Betts has been great and all the staff has been friendly and helpful. Maggie is back to her playful self and loving sunbathing outside again.... 😊😊😊

I am beyond upset with the treatment of this facility I have been coming here for years I have brought my dog Debo here since birth once he got his tail docked and first medication and parvo treatment spent thousands of dollars here I have been coming here for 8 years but due to the misdiagnosis and mistreatment and misguided practice here I sadly buried my best friend today At first I went the checked him out did blood work and said he had a fungus infection was giving 2 different pills was giving it to him as told me too and nothing was helping my dog and I called and called letting them know my dog wasn’t getting any better and after being charged $490 they would not do a re-visit for free I had to fill out an application to see if I qualify for a free visit. Unfortunately he did not make it to his appointment or got a free one I lost a best friend but they also lost a loyal customer I will be taking my business elsewhere and I would recommend for all you to do as well.

I do not trust this vet. I was told that my dog got up and was walking around after surgery, and then passed. When I got there the same older lady vet told me that she never woke up from surgery. It was the same lady, but 20 minutes apart. They also do not take care credit. I was told when I left that they would let me know when they got my dog’s ashes back, and I could pay the remaining balance when I picked her up. I called two weeks later to see if they got her, and they told me they weren’t going to send her until the full balance was paid. I waited two weeks because they told me that I could pay for it when she was ready to be picked up. I asked for the paperwork and they wrote that she was euthanized instead. I paid for the surgery they supposedly did, even though her belly still looked like the tumor was in there. Then I took her to All Dogs to have her get cremated because I do not trust these people at all. I would not recommend this if you care about your pets, or bringing them to an honest clinic.
