Highly recommend Spokane Cat Clinic for your little Purr babies. We have sent all our family & friends. Dr Shaver & her staff are all genuinely kind and loving to our pets. She is reasonable and does not push for more than necessary treatments or tests.
When Dr. Shaver moved to the Cat Clinic, I knew I had to follow her. There’s no veterinarian I trust more with my fur babies. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, and truly cares about both her patients and their owners. The entire staff is so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the clinic itself is always clean and well organized. Their pricing is also very fair and affordable, which makes such a difference when it comes to quality veterinary care. The cat boarding is an added bonus. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing that if anything comes up while I’m away, my cat’s veterinarian is right there to care for her.
I brought my two cats in for care, and the experience was fantastic. Dr. Shaver was amazing! She’s warm, knowledgeable, and clearly a true cat lover. She took extra time with both of my cats and had an incredible rapport with them. This clinic is cats-only, and you can feel the difference. The staff is gentle, attentive, and great at keeping cats calm. I highly recommend them for veterinary care and, BONUS, they also provide boarding. My cats were treated with real care, and I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you Dr. Shaver and clinic staff for taking such good care of my fur babies!
In our house, we're a cat family. For years, we've had long lived cats; we're talking multiple 20+ year old cats. And when it comes to senior cats, they need a lot of attention and care. Thankfully, Spokane Cat Clinic knows how to treat many of the issues that arise as they age. They're compassionate in their care as well, which has helped our cats feel more comfortable even when they're at a scary vet visit. I would recommend them for more specialized cat care as it can be missed by more generalized vets but that does come with a slightly higher cost.
Would not recommend for boarding. I had a reservation set since December for a trip next week and they didn’t let me know until the end of last month that my pickup day wouldn’t work. I had asked multiple times if it was okay to pickup that day, and had been told it was fine every time. I already had my PTO approved and my work schedule figured out, and had to scramble to make it work last minute. They didn’t care about the issues they caused me and I got zero apologies for it, or any offers to take accountability for their mistake. Instead they blamed me and were extremely disrespectful. They got extremely condescending and asked if I expected to be able to pick up on holidays… if you have been saying multiple times over SIX MONTHS that I can, ofc I would expect to. 🙄 So if you are happy for them to screw you over, by all means leave your cat there. They might even almost give you the wrong cat like they nearly did for my first reservation, then get embarrassed when I pointed out that it wasn’t my cat and rushed to roughly shove mine into his carrier.
Fantastic organization! They found our lost cat, posted about her online, and we were able to be reunited with her in just a few days after she was missing for four months. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
After 4 failed vets in Tri Cities, we decided to drive up to Spokane Vet Clinic. I AM SO THANKFUL WE DID! The relief of finding a vet I can actually trust with my babies care is such a relief! Bluntly, I am a bit of a helicopter mom when it comes to my cats(can’t have biological children so next option…. cat lady🤣😇 What do ya do.🥹 I will happily make the drive up here any time for appts. Dr. Shaver was so respectful and listened so well! I am a researcher and try to obtain decent knowledge of question before asking my vet. It was refreshing to find a vet that respects my research, ideas, provided multiple options. I feed a balanced raw diet. I wouldn’t say it’s her immediate recommendation for everyone but It was awesome to have a vet that ask questions (ex. Is it properly balanced?). After explaining it was, she was good with it and even provided me resources for more research on it. Thank you Dr. Shaver! So thankful to finally have someone I can trust!!
