I’ve taken my cats to Dr. Bustamante for years and would recommend her expertise. She is a knowledgeable, efficient, forthright and most importantly, kind. In making the difficult decision to help my cat Leo’s passing, this clinic made the process as smooth as it could be given the circumstance. I am grateful for the compassion I was shown.
Love this place! Took my two dogs here to get groomed by Britt she did an amazing job Both dogs looked amazing and smelled good too. She did an amazing job at getting all their shedding hair off especially my German shepherd husky! She really took her time on cleaning them both I’ll definitely be going back!
We love this animal hospital. My Pomeranian Marley turned 14yro November 2024 and throughout her lifetime we've seen several different vets. I don't know what it is about vets but finding a good one who is going to help you whenever your dog is sick and not take advantage of your desperation is very hard to find. I discovered Spokane valley animal hospital because Marleys prescription medications were due to run out and they're the type that you must see the vet for a hard copy for refills. We typically received a 90 day supply. Whenever I took Marley to her normal vet office Vet IQ in the valley I was hit with the fact that they're out of business in the entire state of Washington. I had only a few days until we ran out of her seizure meds so I found the closest animal hospital urgent care and I'm so very thankful to them for seeing us without an appointment and treating Marley for her medications. Since that first visit we've had to go for other issues and they are always very friendly and helpful and most thankfully they're compassionate. Thank you so much Spokane valley animal hospital for the great care you give to Marley. We appreciate you.
I have always had a great experience here. We have been bringing our pets here for about 20 years. Staff always takes a genuine interest in my pets.
I would rate this clinic four stars if they called themselves a clinic and were upfront about that. Please read below. I’ve had pretty good experiences, taking my cat but here for routine check ups, but if there is any kind of emergency, they have no urgent care hours meaning you have to take your animal somewhere else, to a veterinarian who has no history on your animal which is not ideal. As an RN, I don’t understand why an animal hospital has zero hours for urgent care visits. They really should not call it an animal hospital. They should call it a clinic. When my cat hadn’t eaten for four days and I called to get him seen, I was told that they were a week and a half of non-urgent routine check ups ahead of him and that I would need to go somewhere else. I would recommend taking your animals somewhere where you can have consistency of care at least until these guys make the needed change. There’s a place in liberty Lake I switched to that smartly introduced urgent care hours in the last year if anyone else feels the same way
We’ve been taking all 3 of our dogs here for years. Never once have we had anything but compassionate, kind, and amazing experiences. Recently our sweet 3yo German shepherd mix Mia started getting really sick and stopped eating and drinking. We took her to the Emergency vet downtown on July 4th and they were HORRID to her and charged so much to just give her subq fluid and send her on her way. We took Mia to SVAHHC first thing the next morning when she was even more lethargic than the night before. We had no appointment but they took her in and actually did tests and treated her. She spent the day getting IV fluids, meds and lots of love from the staff and they actually got her to eat. I could have cried from relief when we picked her up at the end of the day and her ears actually perked up and she had some bounce in her steps. Even though the price tag was hefty ( WORTH IT ) I actually felt like the care she received was equally as high. Unlike the awful experience we had the night before. I hope the staff at SVAHHC knows just how important and appreciated they are!
My mom takes all 5 of her dogs here, so she recommended them to me for my chiwahwah to get fixed and some baby teeth pulled. They took great care of him, and even clipped his nails which i was so grateful for!!
