Hands down 5 stars after a successful recovery of my baby. Dr. Prabhakar is an exceptional vet and surgeon who has earned our family’s trust through years of caring for the dogs we love like family. He has been part of our family’s dog care journey for many years. We are happy to be in Pet Pawz-itive in Simi Valley. Place is sanitary, has a large waiting room and a private space for each pet. We feel welcome and not rushed. I take pride and gratitude while writing this review because I truly appreciate the work they do. My 7-year-old, Henry, recently had a thorough checkup and underwent surgery performed by Dr. Prabhakar. Everything was well discussed ahead of time, and the plan of care was clear and on point. Dr. P does what he says he will do, and he performs with diligence, compassion, and respect.He communicated with us throughout the process, and I remember telling him, "You know what’s best. I leave my boy’s life to you." That is the level of trust we have for him. Henry is recovering well, and they continue to follow up with every visit we have. The staff is kind, approachable, and easy to feel comfortable with. It means a lot when you can bring your pets somewhere and know they are in good hands. Thank you.

Pet Pawz-itive & Shanon, the vet tech, really helped me at a horrible time in my life. My 17 year old poodle, Chucky, was ready to go meet his wife, Peaches, at the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge. One of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. I was not ready to let him go, but he was ready to go. Shannon was AMAZING! Her comforting words and actions made a world of difference. Chucky's wife, Peaches, passed away last year in her sleep at 17 years old. The company I used for her cremation forgot to take a paw print impression. I'm still devastated about it. Shannon made sure I got Chucky's paw print. His ashes and the paw print came surprisingly quickly, about 1 week later. I want to thank the staff, Shannon, and the doctor for making this beautiful & peaceful.

We brought our 17-year-old cat here when she was on her last life — or what was left of it. Dr. Varun did everything possible to give her a few more months, including performing surgery and referring us to an oncologist. Throughout this difficult journey, he showed real compassion for both our cat and for us, which we truly appreciated. It was clear that this was not just business for him — he genuinely cared. Since then, we’ve decided to bring our two other cats here as well. It adds about twenty minutes of meowing to every trip, but it’s worth it — Dr. Varun and Carla are far better doctors than those we’ve worked with in Moorpark or Thousand Oaks.

This office is always very clean and professional. The vet Dr. Varun was extremely professional and very kind.

I am so pleased with my visit today Dr was very knowledgeable about my frenchie and knew her symptoms at first sight. After visiting other vets this place has been the best!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for dogs with allergies.

Dr. Concepcion really cares about my pet's well-being. She takes the time to explain every recommendation she makes, and I never feel pressured to purchase things. The cost is amazing compared to other vets, and it's well-worth the treatment my pet receives. I am able to text with the office staff, which makes scheduling an appointment or obtaining refills very easy.
