Angeles Animal Hospital

I switched to Angeles recently for my 3 dogs and cat and I’m so happy we trusted the reviews! They have a full staff of amazing vets and incredible vet techs. We’ve seen 3 vets for various appointments and each one was kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. I’m an overly protective millennial dog mom and all the staff understood and made us feel welcome. It’s been so important to me for my animals to feel safe and comfortable at the vet. On our last appointment, one of the techs came out and greeted my two dogs and gave them scritches before going into our room. It’s also so nice to know the clinic is well staffed with incredible people who love animals. You can trust that they’ll be able to take care of you and your fur baby’s needs. I've taken all my pets to Dr. Ronald Barnes for well over 35 years. He always explains every option when it comes to treatment, and is realistic and not overly expensive. He and his staff have always been very compassionate and caring. I had shown and bred Persian cats for about 20 years and he performed quite a few c-sections and other surgeries, and I always felt confident he did his best. Thank you Dr. Barnes for all of your expertise with my pets.

The staff was very kind and welcoming. I am so appreciative of the care with which my cat was given; he can be a tough one at times. Their knowledge and experience really showed during the visit. I'm glad I have somewhere I can take my cat and feel that his well being is a priority.

Dr Ronald Barns is by far the BEST veterinarian I’ve come across!! He is old fashion!! Very easy and quick to get an appointment. He takes his time to explain everything and shows me in detail’ He doesn’t charge an arm and leg for everything! He has neutered both my bunnies!! And about to spay my puppy! I drive 45 mins each way to see him and he is well worth it! 100% recommend him for all your animal needs!!

We absolutely love this Veterinary office. The doctors are caring and go above and beyond to help your furry family member! They’re candid and break things down so you really understand exactly what is going on with your pet and what your options are, going forward. The office staff is warm and friendly and when you need to make the difficult choices we all face at some point with our babies, they hold you up through it and shed a tear right along with you. We would never trust the care of our dogs with anyone else and we’re so grateful to the doctors and staff.

I have been a customer of Angeles Animal Hospital since 1983, with my first Labrador, Katie. Dr. Ronald Barns has been my Vet since then, taking care of all three Labradors we have had, Katie, Sadie and now, Ivie. I have always appreciated their friendly, kind and efficient staff, they are great! Now, we have Dr. Hayley Barns, who is continuing the great veterinary practice her Dad began! I had a very bad experience here. They don’t care about your sick animal. Maybe this place is ok for routine check ups, but do not come here if your pet is sick and you are looking for a vet to help you. This place drags their feet a lot and if your pet doesn’t respond to treatment they will shut the doors on you and will not help you any further. They may take you in the same day if you are a new patient, but if your pet isn’t responding and needs to be seen again, then they are magically booked. I regret coming here since my cat is declining. I wasted so much time because she didn’t get the proper treatment the first time and was denied further help.
