Eldorado Animal Clinic

We visited Eldorado Animal Clinic for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. We reached out to establish care for our newly adopted kittens (from Feline and Friends - highly recommended) and were warmly greeted and able to make an appointment within 2 weeks. All appropriate paperwork and records were accepted by email and appropriately logged into the EHR prior to our arrival for the appointment. We found plenty of easy parking and a nice clean facility. Checked in was efficient and we were brought back to the exam room before we even warmed up the waiting room seats. Bo and Luke checked out and approved of the exam room. We met with Dr. Garcia, who was warm and excellent with our cats. She clearly loves animals and spent extra time just enjoying them. Highly recommended.

Great Vet Clinic. Dr Dan is the beat he is professional, knowledgeable and caring. Could not find a better vet to take care of my girl.So fortunate to have him in El Dorado!! Staff is accommodating, friendly and professional.

I am very disappointed in the steep dropoff of this clinic. It has gotten to the point that even the most basic appointment takes upwards of 3 weeks to book, which is an untenable wait time. I opted to try "their in-house" online pharmacy (I use quotes there because now they are hiding behind it being a 3rd party they contract with) because my vet aggressively talked up the convenience, price and ease. It is now 11 days later, and I've have upwards of 5 phone conversations every few days with staff starting at 4 days in who have each assured me this extremely routine and straightforward medication refill was all set, only to get an email contradicting that assurance. Nothing moves forward without my constant nagging, and even then it barely does so. I should not have to Karen and pull teeth to get this office to do the most bare bones basic things.

We are from out of town and had a sick older dog. The team here at Eldorado was fantastic. They were able to fit us in same day, everyone was so nice. Definitely recommend.

This place was great, until my dog and I were suffering from mold issues, my landlords refused to fix, when I said I wanted to have him seen, and I was planning on taking the information I received to court, and extremely suspicious situation occurred. Every doctor including Dr Fitz Simmons, said they were worried about there name being in court documents, and refused to see my 12lb 2 year old mini dachshund who was suffering. The woman Jacky told me to call Thrive and they would help me, Thrive stated this was an issue to be resolved by my primary vet physician, and not to call back no matter what. When I called back the Eldorado Vet Clinic, they refused to see boomer and dropped me as a client, when I have given them $20,000 in vet bills over the course of 3 years. If you value your animals life do not take them here.

I took our dog, Zia for her annual visit. Everyone was very professional and friendly. She is reactive around other dogs so they quickly got her into a room when she heard barking from another dog. They answered all my questions. They allowed me to put her in her crate so she could avoid other dogs before I settled my bill and got my next appointment. I am very pleased with the care that Zia received at the Eldorado Animal Clinic.

Dr. Garcia is always so kind and realistic at the same time about the health of my 20 year old cat. By the way, my cat is still hanging in there and has been an Eldorado patient his entire life.
