We had a great experience with our little blue heeler today/tonight with a burst tumor. Dr Sonja was very helpful and addressed our concerns, we got excellent advice and some tools to keep his wound clean. The staff was friendly and kept us informed, our dog was relaxed enough to fall asleep in the waiting room. We had to wait a while but this was understandable as we are a lower level triaged case. Thank you so much!

Junie got great care at Mosaic for a deep cut on her leg. She’s a country dog who isn’t sure about strangers, much less strangers getting in her personal business when she’s in pain, but the staff were patient, kind, and compassionate. I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was very reasonable for an emergency vet given the overhead they must have to maintain the facility and staff. After years of very few options, I’m grateful to have Mosaic here in Santa Fe.

My best friend of 11 years, Espi, had an infection in her intestines and was hospitalized with Mosaic for over 24 hours. Everyone here was so helpful and compassionate. Every time I called to check on her they were very patient and took time out of their busy schedule to give me thorough updates on her progress. She is now recovering at home and is almost back to her old self. Thanks to everyone at Mosaic who took such good care in helping my friend.

I had an amazing experience at Mosaic Animal Emergency and Specialty Hospital. Brenda and all that staff were so compassionate and nothing short of amazing! From the moment my husband and I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. They treated my dog Akoona with so much care and patience, which really put us at ease, knowing she was going to stay over night. The vet took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all our questions without making us feel rushed. They updated us thoroughly with her treatment through out the process! You can tell they all truly care about animals and their owners. The clinic was clean, professional, and efficient. I left feeling confident that my Akoona was in great hands. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate vet and team!

We have had negative experiences with other ER vet clinics in the past, but this definitely was the exception. We had to take our sweet girl in for cluster seizures that were outside of her normal episodes. Even though they were busy, the techs and doctors were quick, responsive, and compassionate with us. They communicated every step of the way and took care of our girl during an overnight stay. They adapted the situation to my dogs needs, and continued to be responsive when I called for aftercare concerns. Thank you Dr. Sloan and the rest of the amazing team at Mosaic! 🙏

10,000 stars for Dr. Julia & her team of lovely & wonderful humans. I will forever be grateful for their expertise, kindness & compassion. Witnessing Dr. Julia with my labradoodle, Sookie, was as graceful and moving as watching Swan Lake. And A+ to Sonesta, whose heart is too big for her body. ❤️🙏🏼

Don’t take your pets here if you don’t want to be prioritized as pet parents. Took my cat in because she had labored breathing, wasn’t eating, not drinking much water, pale gums. She was taken back there but that was the last time I saw her living. Got there at 8AM before ANYONE else lobby was empty - Doctor came in the first room to give us the option of draining the fluid and getting it sent to a lab to see what’s going on , overnight stay, oxygen cage, and the normal run down, for over 2K it was big decision to make because it wasn’t guaranteed that it would help and she still would be suffering. So as it was we made the decision of sending her over the rainbow bridge to make her more comfortable and a happy life that wasn’t going to be filled with medications and surgery. We wanted to see her again. We wanted to hold her. We wanted to grieve her. We waited for so long for the doctor to come back or a Vet Tech or even one of the receptionists as we paged a couple times just to still even wait longer. Longer to not see our kitty. My main reason I am so unbelievably upset and would not EVER take one of my pets here again is communication, LACK OF COMPASSION, and lack of urgency. We were moved to another room to yet again wait after being told that a vet tech would be bringing her in SOON we waited in the room again barely any updates. We got one at the beginning "She’s stable in the oxygen tank, we are going to give her a sedative to help calm her down" and then "We haven’t forgotten about you we are just making sure she is calm enough to bring her to you guys." Then we were left again, we kept waiting and waiting. I get up to go to the restroom and OF COURSE when I come out that door I was given the news that she had stopped breathing. If she wasn’t able to be moved, and what you did stressed her out more WHY didn’t you let the owners see her. Not let US come back to the back while she was still breathing so she could see a familiar face. The ones that loved her. This is beyond level of evil. I worked at a vet hospital for 5 years and my mother working in this field for over 20 years. So I don’t need to be told otherwise about why what happened, happened. We did so much for our patients, both pet and parent. I would never let this happen where we didn’t prioritize every pet and owner and their requests, and communicate, or go beyond for others well-being. Please consider for yourself to go somewhere else for your pets to be cared about.
