Vetco Vaccination Clinic

Waited about 1hr for a scheduled appointment. Non- appointment folks were seen prior to appointment - why make an appt. Reason for making appt is so that the pets don’t have to wait an hour. While owners were tired of waiting the pets became stressed. Vet and technician were overwhelmed and tired but did the Vaccination Service was reasonably fast. This was the 3rd annual visit to the Vetco vaccination clinic - I always book an appointment but never had to wait this long. Maybe it was the location or just staff having an off day. Overall experience for owners - Fair but Vetco has room for improvement. My Pets will likely disagree with me and give a Paw down to Vetco

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I had an appointment, yet when I arrived they claimed my name was not even in their system and made me wait 30 to 40 minutes. That alone was bad enough, but the handling afterward was even worse. I had to personally call to ask them to email me the vaccine confirmation. I also told them at least five separate times that I needed the vaccine sticker as proof and specifically asked them not to throw it away. They ignored that request and threw it away anyway. Only after I firmly pushed back did they suddenly manage to pull it back out of the trash and give it to me. This level of disorganization and disregard for a client’s repeated requests is incredibly unprofessional. I left feeling stressed, ignored, and frustrated. I would not trust this location to handle something as basic as appointment records or vaccination documentation properly.

Vetco clinic is very convenient and reliable for getting on-time vaccines. I brought my son's dog along with his vaccine record and was able to get him vaccinated for influenza quickly. The clinic vet and techs were very efficient and yet also attentive to details such as the need to bring our dog back for his needed second dose. I appreciate the text reminders. Parking at Potrero is easy and plentiful. There are many appointment slots available. This is such a great service! The pricing reflects accessibility and while not exactly cheap is reasonable in my opinion. With veterinary care challenging to come by, this is a great option. Thank you, Petco!

Quick and efficient! My pup was in and out within 5 minutes and the prices are reasonable.

Employees were very nice but I waited 2 hours ( with an apt) to get a vaccine for my dog. There was no explanation for the delay. I checked in with my phone when I arrived and with an employee too. Some of the folks there had been waiting 2.5 hours!!! Nuts. Thought I was saving $$$ going to a clinic at petco instead of the vet for a shot, but the wait is terrible- it was ackward as the store didn’t have a place for all of us to wait comfortably , so the first hour I spent with my back up against a shelf with my dog trying to not be in anyone’s way who were trying to shop at the store and not to mention sitting around a crowded cramped area with a bunch of scared barking and peeing dogs for hours on my day off - not worth it.

I was taken in quickly for t, everyone was very nice.

Timing was good; the vet was professional. I was charged $145, $10 more than the website advertised for the service $135 for friendly Rover package. I accepted that but when I got home I looked at the Vetco site and the price was $139. I've called the Petco and spoke to someone who told me to come back to adjust the bill. I appreciate that but again one more trip to correct something that was inaccurate. Also, just noticed that the report lists abnormal findings which I would have liked called out by the vet.
