So I recently moved from San Antonio to Edinburg for school. While I was in San Antonio, Texas Vet Hospitals in Castle Hills was my main vet. I'm sooooo glad I chose them. I was always confident that my pets would be taken care of the first time I took them. I was never given the run around and I was never charged random fees. They were always up front about the care they were providing and were more than happy to explain the care in detail. I also have to give a huge shout out to Dr. Mixon--he was so friendly, always professional, and was very knowledgeable. I also loved their receptionist, Tiffany, because she is so down to Earth. Had a lot of cool conversations with her. Anyway, thank you guys for being wonderful. I wish I could've taken you with me to Edinburg.

Hello Texas veterinary hospital, my name is Deborah and my kitty cat is named Gypsy. I rescued this poor cat that was reduced to just fur and bones, I took her in in a heartbeat, I reached out to your clinic, please forgive me I cannot remember the vets name, all I know is that she was a lady, and she was our saving grace. He saved this cat's life, my cat's life, random act of kindness and an answer of prayer straight from God. She was not expected to live, but by God's grace and this that's great she is alive today, and doing so great at her life. I just wanted to let y'all know, y'all bring me to tears of gratefulness and by grace and answer prayers, amen 👍😊❤️🙂🙏

A great experience that turned my girl's failing health around quickly. Dr Mixxon came as a reference and I couldn't be more pleased by the staff's attention and care. She is healthy and in full puppy mode now! 😊🙏

Thorough, Caring, and Educated! Our dog came in with heartworms which is very scary but this experience eased so many of our worries. They were amazing with my dog and examined her with plenty of treats and love. They explained everything they were finding and presented our options for tests very well. They came back with xrays and explained everything on it while showing it to us. They answered all of our questions and again presented us with options for treatment, giving us the realistic information about each one. They gave us the pills right then and charged us at the counter with ease. We got a discount on our exam but you can also get $10 off by following them on instagram. Great vet and I would recommend to anybody.

From a customer standpoint, Lily and myself had a great experience. After losing my old buddy in August last year, I recently decided to foster. I wanted to find a go-to, reliable and affordable vet with as much compassion for dogs as I have. I able to get her in quickly, and out faster with tail wags the whole time. Your staff were all clearly pet lovers who seemed to truly enjoy being there. I recently moved to this area, and just like anyone else, price tag was also a factor. Very affordable and comparable, if not better in price to so called 'low-cost' vets. Great facilities, convenient location, and friendly staff. No doubt I will recommend you to anyone asking. Knowing I now have a reliable, affordable and compassionate vet, it's one less thing I need to worry about in my journey in fostering 'Fido(s)'. I hope my review helps anyone else looking for a good vet.

Brought in my 8 year old cat recently because he was having some digestive issues. Dr. Mixon and his staff were great, they asked a ton of questions and took great care of him! Also let me know that he's a bit over weight and gave me a good plan on how to get it under control. Will definitely be going back should I need any other services for my cat and dog.

I used to love this vets office until the doctor himself could not admit to my dad that the medicine he gave our dog was the cause of an allergic reaction and the staff was insensitive & incompetent. We took her to VCA Becker hospital cause my dad no longer felt comfortable taking our dog there after MULTIPLE false diagnosis with all the paper work he gathered we rush to VCA to find out our dog had cancer and she had to be put down. They informed us that this clinic did not take proper X-rays and never heard of this injection they gave our dog. Saddened with grief the doctor at VCA thanked my dad for being our dogs advocate cause he knew it was more than just allergies or an inflamed hawk. I would not recommend taking your pets here. Just save your money and do your research.
