I implore everybody reading these google reviews to also read the yelp reviews for this business because those exceptionally reflect the values of this "hospital". The staff is and has always been extraordinarily rude and condescending and they consistently push you to spend more money while already consistently charging hundreds and even thousands of dollars for routine check ups. Today they refused service to my cat, who was in pain and not eating because "he needed to go to an emergency center". Okay fine, you have that right. However, whoever is answering the phone clearly has absolutely no idea what they’re talking about. When my cat finally got seen at a different facility, after 8 more hours of being in pain, the kind and educated nurses and doctors at (surprise, surprise, not an emergency center) Alamo Feline Health Center (absolutely amazing experience) informed us of the problem, gave him a shot, and we were on our way with a now happy and healthy cat! I hope whoever was given the incredibly important and grueling job of answering phones today feels accomplished for providing absolutely zero help, sympathy, or kindness 🙂 Thanks

We switched to Cibolo Canyons after having a horrifyingly bad experience with Bulverde Animal Hospital in which we lost the life of one of our precious pups. We knew for our next vet we wanted only the best. That’s Cibolo. We’ve been coming here for two years now and the staff is amazing. We love the vets who both are super candid and honest with us but also so sweet and fun with our two pups. The cost is a little higher than what we paid at our last place but 1000% worth it. We love that Cibolo checks in on our dogs when they have an issue and make sure we’re happy with the service as well. Their followup instructions are always easy to understand and the two times we’ve had an emergency with one of our pups (HGE) they were amazing with keeping us updated with our pup having to stay overnight both times. I cannot recommend this place enough. Definitely use this place if you want the best for your fur babies!

We have used the Veterinarians at Cibolo Canyons for more than five years. We couldn't be happier with the service we have received for our two cats and three dogs. The doctors provide excellent care, and work to resolve any and all health issues. The doctors and the staff are extremely caring, and show a level of concern for my pets that I have not received at other vet clinics. I would highly recommend Cibolo Canyons Vet to anyone seeking thorough and SAFE health care for their fur babies.

We’ve been taking our dogs and cats to Dr. Fehlis since 2009. She's very good at her job - you can tell she has a genuine love for animals. The front desk staff is super sweet and helpful too. We’ve never had a bad experience here. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but honestly all vets are, and the quality of care at Cibolo Canyons is worth it!

Outstanding staff from the Front Desk, Technicians, and Veterinarians. Everyone was very friendly, polite, and great with the animals. Service was very prompt and appointments were on time. Facilities were very clean from the reception area to the examination rooms. Dr. Fehlis took her time in giving a thorough annual examination without being in a rush for her next appointment. Madison and Kimberlee both did a great job in assisting her, administering vaccines, and with the preliminary work. Great place to come for the customer service and well-being of your pet.

I have been coming to Cibolo Canyons Veterinary Hospital for almost 10 years now and they have provided exceptional care for 4 of my Great Danes, 2 mini doxies, a pit mix and several cats over the years. The techs and doctors have always done an excellent job of working within my animals’ comfort level during exams. Their fear free approach to exams makes visits much less dramatic for all of my animals but especially the nervous or reactive ones. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this because with a 145lb reactive dog many places would insist on sedating him. Cibolo Canyons Vet staff goes above and beyond to help make his vet visits as relaxing and fun as possible for him. Rogue doesn’t yet LOVE the vet but he is getting much more comfortable with each visit and we are able to keep him and the staff safe. We greatly appreciate the entire staff for the care provided over the years!

We are so grateful for Dr. Fehlis and the team of providers at the Cibolo Canyons Veterinary Hospital. They saw our Winston on short notice and almost at closing time before the weekend to help him with sores on his ear. They took such good care of him when he had to get three teeth extracted and also diagnosed his paw problem in one visit. Our previous vet had a completely different treatment plan that didn’t help Winston’s paw for over a year. Dr. Fehlis figured it out on day one. Winston is pretty stubborn and they know how to deal with his pouting temper. You get what you pay for and every penny is worth it at his Vet practice. The staff is professional and friendly. But most importantly they know their stuff and they really really care. I am so grateful we found this practice. 10 stars. And Winston says 10 arfs.
