My dog was attacked by a pit bull and his lower mandible was severely damaged. From the minute I brought Rocky in for evaluation and surgery to his follow up visit to remove his sutures, the staff-Alex at the front desk, Dr. Jones, Dr. Dhakal, and everyone else-was so welcoming, attentive, and Rocky felt so comfortable with them. In my opinion, their fees are very reasonable. Their communication with me throughout Rocky’s procedures was excellent. Dr. Dhakal is a very knowledgeable and talented surgeon. He fixed my Rocky back up and you would never know he was ever injured. I can’t say enough positive things about Angel of Mercy Animal Critical Care. I would definitely trust them again to care for my dogs if needed. Thank you Angel of Mercy Animal Critical Care!

Great staff! I'm so happy they were open when we needed emergency care for our tuxedo cat. They were caring and kept me apprised of everything they were doing. They were able to address his fever and abscessed wound! It's not pretty, but they placed a shunt for drainage and he was feeling better within 12 hours!

I want to thank the staff for their help always. Last Thursday evening/Friday morning we had to make a trip for our dog who recently was diagnosed with IVDD and I am glad for all the education and encouragement we received from them. They were way more thorough with education on caring for our dog with this new diagnosis. I understand this is difficult news for our family but we felt way more knowledgeable and comfortable with caring for our dog after this visit.

I had a really disappointing experience at this emergency vet. When you bring your pet in during an emergency, you expect urgency, compassion, and clear communication but that’s not what we received. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive, and we were left waiting far longer than what felt reasonable given the situation. I also felt pressured into making expensive decisions out of fear. The situation was presented as much more serious than it actually turned out to be, and I was strongly encouraged to leave my dog overnight, which ended up costing around $1,900. After all of that, I was told she had a rectal prolapse—which needs treatment, but is not the kind of immediately fatal emergency it was made out to be. That felt incredibly misleading and upsetting. To make matters worse, when I picked up my dog, she was clearly distressed—panting heavily and shaking. Her harness and collar reeked of urine,It did not feel like she was kept comfortable or properly cared for during her stay. Use them at your own risk.

I always hate having to come here (simply bc it means I have an emergency with one of my fur babies) but they are always fantastic. My dog was sprayed in the eyes by a skunk and they were starting to swell. I was seen by a tech quickly (they had us wait out in the car due to the smell) and she showed me how to flush my dog’s eyes. The tech was so nice and gave tips for how to get rid of the smell and my dog is doing so much better now.

Took our little 15 yr old pup in for a bite in the neck from an attack from another dog. Our pup look a little alert but we knew he was in pain and was bleeding from neck. After taking him in, Karla, front desk/tech was very compassionate and helpful to us and our pup. After Dr Perkins evaluated our pup, we were told that he would have to be sedated and have X-rays done ($509) later, comes and tells us he has a punctured windpipe and would need emergency surgery. After asking how much that would cost, said could be $5k, $8k, could run to $13k or he would have to be put down. And if they kept him overnight there, he would be put on IV and meds. We asked if he could be sent home with antibiotics, she said no. After realizing how old our pup was we decided we figured if he was going to die, we wanted him to die at home. We brought him home, gave him his pain meds and gave him chicken broth and water for two days and we took turns watching him sleep. Long story short, cared for him at home, little by little he got his appetite and strength and is walking and looks normal. No surgery. Just thank God he is still here with us. But thanks to Karla who texted the following days after to check on him. She was the best and compassionate with our Gizmo!

My cat Gizmo had been sick for about a week. He was very lethargic, threw up once and was not his regular energetic self. I called and was told I could be a walk in and the visit would be $109.00. Gizmo was seen quickly by the Tech who went over the list of recommended services. Gizmo used to chew on plastic so I was concerned with a possible blockage. The Tech recommended (after discussing with the Veterinarian) that I have a bloodwork done. The bloodwork cost $299.27 on top of the visit charge of $109.00. He also recommended an anti nausea shot so my cat wouldn’t throw up anymore. That shot was $96.05. The bloodwork stated my cat had elevated RBC, hematocrit, hemoglobin, rdw, wbc, neutrophils, monocytes, glucose which after a google search means dehydrated. The next recommendation was a series of X-rays for possible blockage, glucose test to see if my cat was diabetic, fluids, a warming pad ($18.20) since my cat had a low temp. The quoted total was over $2500.00. I told the tech, I can’t afford that. So he said how about the fluids ($55.00) and an antibiotic ($34.42)? He also mentioned my cat had pee’d on himself (which he hadn’t done until then). Needless to say $586.80 later, I left with my cat and went home. He died two days later and I still don’t know why. I would not recommend this facility unless you have money or are approved for Care Credit. It appears the Angel of Mercy was off on Friday, when I had my visit.
