We’ve had some rough complications arise with our cats. Dr. Quinley and Dr. Wendy have offered really compassionate, communicative, competent care through it all. Very grateful to have found them.

It's a cat clinic!!! Therefore, very cat friendly. No dogs to be scared of. Vets are very knowledgeable and staffs are friendly. Nice environment.

If you have kitty babies, River City Cat Clinic is hands down the best vet in the Sacramento area. They are a cat only, local, women owned & operated vet clinic. It is currently waitlist only but totally worth it & the list moves fast. All three docs are great but we LOVE Dr. Quinley who is one of the 80 something vets in the country who specialized in cats. Got an anxious or challenging baby, no problem, Dr. Q & the team know to make everyone, human & feline comfortably. LGBTQIA+ friendly. They also focus on giving quality service at a reasonable price & they will always work w/you to look at all the various options w/o pressuring you into spending every last penny you have. RCCC will make you feel like family from the moment Michael checks you in until the time you walk out. They are great about following up post procedure & they educate you so you fully understanding what's going on with your baby & what to expect. I recommend them to all my friends, families & pet sitting clients. They are the magical unicorn of vets when it comes to cats. Tell them Lando Meowrissian & I sent you. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Generally appointments have been available and easy to book, and every staff person I've met has been wonderful. This is the only clinic I want to take my cats to

I am new to town and these people were recommended by my cats-only vet in Seattle. I find them to be very kind and extremely responsive. I look forward to a long relationship with them.

Called with a quick simple question to see if I should bring my cat in and the associate refused to answer saying I must be a client to answer this simple question, and I should book an appointment to bring him in. Seems like a place much more worried about turning a profit than actually caring for the cat.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I felt so safe putting my cat in their hands, I could tell they cared very deeply for all of the pets that they treat. I have never had an experience with a vet like this, where it is so clear that they truly have the animals best interests at heart and will do all they can to help. They could not have been more thorough, and at the end of the appointment I was expecting to pay a huge bill. (Which I would have done gladly for the service) instead, I found that they were even more reasonably priced than other vets I had visited, all while being more personable, kind, and thorough. It was clear to me that the people here are not just trying make a profit, they truly love cats and love helping them.
