Hillsdale Animal Hospital

Hospital was great but the cremation place they use sucks. My 4 yo son found our cat dead in the backyard. Took the cat in and was told 2-3 weeks. We call to check on him and they tell us they lost his remains. So we will get a refund and a river rock gravestone as a free gift.. ummm no thank u, I want our damn cat. Just go somewhere else for cremations....

My cat of almost 19 years was dying and having a hard time breathing. I was given this number to take him in, they were able to see him last minute which I appreciated. I asked if they could give him a sedative because he was always afraid of everything being an indoor cat. Dr Moon said they don’t do that. So they took him away to shave his leg to put the IV in to put him down and we weren’t allowed to be with him… I could hear him screaming the whole time they were shaving him. I loved my Gato so much and that was why I took him in so he wouldn’t suffer but that was horrible and I still think about it and decided to post this so others don’t go thru what I did…the cost was $350. Friends I’ve talk to about putting their pets down said they were allowed to be sedated beforehand.

Went today with my dog for his first visit. Yes, my dog is heading to the Rainbow Bridge. Staff were very kind and helpful, but Dr. Moon was horrible. He had no empathy, barely talked to me, didn't listen to me, talked over me, and I didn't let me ask any questions. He clearly had no concern for my pet or myself to be honest. It was hugly upsetting and disappointing.

I had to update my review and replace it with a one star because my dogs require constant grooming and whenever I need a new copy of the vaccinations I get told the same sob story that for some system issue or software issue the vaccinations are coming up as not current and I constantly have to call and let the staff know that my dogs are current and that it’s every year in March that I bring them in and I just had to spend about 20 minutes going back-and-forth with someone because they adjusted one dog record and not the other I don’t know if this is a sales tactic to get more business informing customers every single time they reach out that their pets vaccinations are not current, but I will be switching vets after this because this is a huge inconvenience.

I took my fur baby here and I was a bit nervous because I don’t have good experience with vets but the staff made me feel very comfortable and answered every question for me without being rude I will start bringing all my fur babies here

Great hospital! Great staff, n Dr Moon is the best. They are priced very reasonably, n they take Great care of pets. I highly recommend this place!

I brought my cat in for dental cleaning and extracted a few teeth as well. Reasonable priced! No complications. I brought her home and she seems fine.
