The best vet visit experience ever !!! Jeffrey became terrified of vet visits, making any kind of treatment extremely difficult and stressful for us and specially for Jeffrey. Dr. Matt was so kind and compassionate towards him that in a few minutes Jeffrey was confident and comfortable again. Dr. Matt worked patiently and kindly with him today until gaining his trust back. We are so happy and thankful for meeting Dr. Matt and his wonderful staff today.

Great experience and staff at City of Trees Animal Hospital. Dr. Matt was thorough and kind. The rooms and space were beautifully decorated and comforting to our cats. We are happy to have this awesome new addition to the neighborhood where animal care is greatly needed!

We’ve had consistently great experiences with City of Trees Vet. The staff is great and clearly cares about the animals, and it’s easy to book an appointment online. Dr. Matt is super friendly and makes visits feel easy and low-stress. Appointments run smoothly, questions get answered, and I never feel rushed. It’s such a relief having a vet you can trust—definitely recommend.

My dog, Charlie, had a hump on his mid to lower back, which indicated back pain. Dr. Matt discussed laser treatments to help with the hump/back pain. I purchased six laser sessions. By the fourth session, the hump started to get smaller. Before Charlie's sixth laser treatment, the hump was nearly flat, which is an indication that his back pain was better than when the laser treatments started. It has been almost one year since Charlie had the laser treatments. Since Charlie completed his treatments, he has not taken medication for inflammation or pain. He is doing great with no signs of back pain. Thank you Dr. Matt!

I highly recommend this new practice in the Greenhaven/Pocket area of Sacramento. I don’t even live in the area, but worth the drive out to get care at a younger, more modern practice. The hospital is brand spanking new, clean, and comfortable and decorated with super cute artwork. There is pretty good coffee and tea for humans and tasty treats for your pets. The hospital is located in a strip with several good restaurants and a croissant bakery! So far Dr Matt and his staff have proven to be empathetic and patient with me and my not so cooperative cats. 😆 Are any cats? Price for wellness visit was fair and I think less than a corporate clinic. So that was a pleasant surprise. Note, they are open only three days a week, but I was told as the practice grows more staff will come on board so will eventually be open on more days.

Prices were not reasonable for me and the doctor puts on this act ..folding his hands and telling us our cat could go down hill real fast and that we should get all the expensive tests he was asking for. He did this every time. The last straw was when our catneeded to be spayed and he wanted to charge us over 1000 dollars.

Dr Matt took great care of our two dogs. He spent time listening to our concerns and seemed to really care about helping our dogs. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the facility is great.
