My Pug Jay has been coming here since he was a baby 6 years ago! He’s had 4 successful surgeries here with no complications, including one recently to remove a mast cell tumor. I found the lump on a Monday, had the appt to confirm cancer, and he was in and out of surgery the following Monday. I’m super grateful he was able to get it removed so fast without it spreading. Everyone there is super warm and helpful, especially since I was worried sick. They took amazing care of him and also reassured me on the morning of dropoff that he was in the best hands. Jay Pug was back to his derpy always-starving self within hours of being home from surgery 😭

I highly recommend Animal Medical Center of Troy! Dr. Tallis was helpful for both of my cats and their living longer than expected. When their time was near, she was very understanding and kind towards them and towards me. The staff was also very kind and understanding. I can tell they really do care about animals and their owners.

Took my cat in for a comprehensive evaluation. I was impressed with the care they provide to keep cats less stressed. There was a room reserved just for cats with a Feliway diffuser, and her blood pressure was taken and her shots were given to her while she chilled in her carrier!

Dr. Tallis is exceptional in the way she interacts with your pet. She is very gentle, knowledgeable and has good communication with the owner. The staff at the clinic are professional and kind. I can’t imagine taking our dog anywhere else.

VERY nice people, though somewhat understaffed. Takes a while and some tries to get a hold of someone since there's usually 1 person upfront. They do typically respond to voicemail a day or two afterwards. Can be costly here. They take a lot of precautions and provide plenty of meds/equipment to provide the best comfort for my pets however because of this, it can get pricey here since they tack on a handful of things in the bill (at least compared to my old and now new vet locations.) My cats would hiss and swat at the last vet unlike here where they're a lot calmer but it did cost about (at this time of writing) 900 for a spay (they use laser here), 1,800 for dental (pulled teeth). Which I don't mind paying since they take so much precaution to preform the least amount of discomfort for my pets but pet insurance only covers so much. When I took my spayed cat to get her incision checked my a different vet because this place was busy, they said the incision was closed nicely so that's a plus. The stitch here doesn't need to be taken out as well which makes me happy since appointments can be timely.

Our new puppy is a patient of Dr T. He is incredibly experienced and knowledgeable. We didnt feel rushed at all and Dr T had so much great advice for us. Front desk staff are very welcoming. Immediately felt at home and cared for. Toys are available for pets to play with too. Even got an adorable Valentine's bandana put on our pup.

Staff was very friendly, attended to my cat with care and compassion. The first trip to the vet where my cat was not terrified out of her mind!
