Cat Care of Rochester Hills

My sweet baby angel Yoko had pretty severe gingivitis and I shopped around for nearly 6 months until I decided to go with Cat Care. Factors that went into my decision making included: Knowledge/Experience- Highly trained staff that ONLY treats cats… yeah I’d call them experts! I have an anxious cat too, so knowing there wouldn’t be barking or loud noises to freak her out was a huge plus. Facility- Very clean, the floors are non-slip, and each room has dedicated hiding/nestling spaces for the cats, depending on the type of vet visitor they are (in a basket, on a bench, under a bench… just incredibly thoughtful!!!) Pricing- Dental is expensive (expect $1-2K) but they had some of the fairest pricing around. They also overestimate during the consultation, which I appreciate because I didn’t have to stress about money as well as my cat once I saved up the amount they told me to be prepared for. Interaction- Everyone I interacted with was extremely kind, and again, just incredibly knowledgeable!!! I must have called a dozen times with random questions the weeks leading up to her appointment, and every concern I raised was quickly alleviated. There is no one more capable to care for your cat than Cat Care, TRUST ME!!!

Highly recommend Cat Care! Dr. Burke & the tech were thorough, informative & gentle with my cat during an annual exam. The office is quiet in case you have a skittish cat.

We're new to the clinic as our kitten is only 4 months old. We really like the care they give him. Very informative as to the treatments he's getting, how to best raise him, and they are so gentle and kind to him. Super happy!

My cats have had such a calm and enjoyable experience. All cat vets are simply just a right choice if you cat has higher stress when being taken in. My girl cat has had an extremely bad experience in the past with a normal vet hospital. The smells seemed less threatening to her this time and both cats were calm when waiting to be seen. The also loved all the churu treats! The staff was super knowledgeable as well.

Very knowledgeable and friendly! When I called with a recent concern about my cat's health, the person who answered the phone listened to my concern and responded with expertise. Can tell they really care about my cat. I love bringing my cat to a cat-only facility. The exam rooms are designed especially for cats with windows at cat observation height. (See my cat in pic below.) There's even a kitty on staff who helps at the front desk and checks in on patients.

Izzy who is now 5 has been under the care of Dr. Sloan since she has been an 8 week old kitten. My previous cat Abby who passed at the age of 17 was under the care of Cat Care for over 15 years. Although this clinic is a little pricey I would highly recommend their services as they really understand cats and explain everything in detail on addition to following up the day after their services. Kind, caring and compassionate describes all of their staff.

All the staff are so friendly! They really make you feel like your cat is in good hands and are very thorough and answer all your questions. I was so nervous about having my cat be put under anesthesia, but they definitely reassured me and took so great care of Lilly. They also gave me and my cat a bravery card after her surgery. It was so very sweet!! 🙂
