Thank you so much to the team at Animal Emergency and Specialty center in Reno. At the stroke of midnight, we had our first emergency with our 4.5 month old pup. We had to drive 45 minutes to Reno, and they promptly took care of him with full attention and love. Our worries after doom-googling his symptoms were immediately resolved by the veterinarian, Kelsey Lambirth. She was very easy to understand and super kind to us. Thank you. I would also like to highlight the positivity and good vibes around the front office that made this visit super pleasant. I’ve worked nightshift before and I know how hard it can be to keep the mind at ease. Thank you. Something is going very right here at this animal hospital. I feel lucky to have such care given to our little guy. My only wish is that they would open one closer to Minden or South Lake for us ski mountain bums haha. Thank you so much to everyone who helped our pup.
Dr Bunkers and her team saved our dogs life. We believe she was stung by a bee and went into severe anaphylaxis shock. We thought for sure she would not survive, but they did not give up and two days later she came home. We are so grateful.
Our sweet beagle recently had emergency surgery, and I can't say enough good things about the team. From the moment we arrived, everyone was compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about both our dog and our family. They kept us informed throughout the entire process and provided excellent care during a very stressful and scary time time. We are incredibly grateful for the skill, kindness, and dedication of the doctors and staff. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our girl!
I am extremely impressed with the care my kitty has received at this center. Dr. Cooper and Dr. Stucky were wonderful, as were the nurses and front desk staff. They did an amazing job testing and treating her while she was in a very critical condition. They have excellent communication skills. They explained everything detail of my kitty's care and gave me frequent updates over the phone. All the charges were explained ahead of time with rhe reasons for the costs. I would definitely recommend this center and not hesitate to use their services again if necessary.
We have been to this vet twice, unfortunately to say goodbye to our beloved dogs. The staff has been so incredibly kind and caring both times. Morgan is amazing! She is extremely empathetic and understanding how emotional those tough times are. Our husky passed unexpectedly with a very traumatic experience for us. While we were leaving Morgan rushed out to the parking lot with a baggie of our husky’s hair. We didn’t even think to ask. She went the extra mile for us and we are so grateful. For our second dog passing she was extremely understanding. She made the incredibly sad process a little more tolerable. We drive over an hour to see this vet because ALL of the staff goes the extra mile and makes the difference. They ALL truly care for your animals and yourself!
My baby girl Nova is the only thing I have in this world. The other night she began puking, bloody diarrhea, and hives on her face. We came in on December 26th around midnight and left at 3:15am. The staff here probably saved her life. Its been a little over 48hrs and the little turd is damn near 100%. Im not low income but Im also not rich. The vet was honest about what treatments/test were most needed and which ones were a good idea but if i couldn't afford them they could POSSIBLY wait. The vet was spot on about it all. She went back did her thing and had my baby back to me. The vet that helped us was a tall blonde young woman. If you can let her know how grateful I am I would appreciate it so much. I didnt ask for a name because i was just so stressed. You saved two lives that night ma’am. Thank you. (Ignore the bland diet thats on the floor in the pic she eats the chicken and spits out the rice lol)
Dr. Bell and staff helped us with the unexpected passing of our beloved dog Theodore. They handled everything with care. Dr. Bell was excellent in explaining diagnosis and options with empathy and compassion. I appreciate they way we got to say good bye to our friend.
