Juniper absolutely loves them! Everyone is very kind and professional, answering all questions while also making my dog comfortable with pets and love. They were great our first time going when Juni had kennel cough and was treated in their outdoor space. They have been amazing in the years since with Juni always excited to go! Edit: I now have a cat! The people at Oak Heart are just as caring and efficient with Valentina! She has had a great start to veterinary care with the team here

My Fiancee raved about this location when she brought our cat originally so we brought our pups and I was very impressed with how much they care about our dogs comfort and well being. They are sweet and gentle and very knowledgeable. We’ve never felt like we’re being sold anything but instead recommended what is best for our animals without pressure. We had our baby Millie spayed there and they did an incredible job and took excellent care of her. She’s doing great and we’re very thankful. I’d recommend anyone to come here.

Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital on N Person Street is truly something special. They don’t just treat pets, they love them like their own. I bring two dogs and a cat here, and every single visit reminds me why I trust this team so much. From the moment you walk in, the staff is warm, patient, and incredibly compassionate. My pets are treated with such kindness and respect, even in stressful moments, and that means the world to me as a pet parent. I’m so glad I picked this place for a second opinion on a health issue my dog was having! The front office person who answered the phone was so thorough and helpful in getting me set up. Shey and Dr Borst were fabulous to work with; kind, knowledgeable, and straightforward. They didn’t rush me through the appointment and gave my dog lots of love. I’d come back here in a heartbeat.

Even though I live in Cary now, I choose to drive 25 min to this vet. They are personable, very good with my dog and they are very understanding about my being a person with an autoimmune disability by masking in the exam room when my dog is treated. They are also forbearing that being someone who is disabled and who lives with CPTSD, going to the vet is not easy for me or my dog. This means the world to me. This facility is always pristine and Captain(see pic) says they have the best treats:)

We take our dog Winston here and we absolutely love it! The vets, techs and all the support staff are kind, honest and trustworthy and you can tell they actually care about your pet. We have moved, but we will still drive to this location because that is how much we trust and love this clinic! Highly recommend!!

We brought our dog here for 5 years (for 2 years when it was City Vet and for the last 3 years when it was Oak Heart at Person Street). Even through the change in ownership, we were very pleased with the quality of care for our dog. We moved to France recently, and OHVH did everything possible to make this transition smooth. From answering our 5000 questions to doing everything in their power to make sure he got on his flight even when UPS delayed his paperwork (the vet was ready to come in and sign new paperwork on her day off), they really went above and beyond to help us make this move as easy as possible. The communication was excellent throughout all of the stress of moving, and they helped us come up with a medication plan to keep our anxious dog as calm as possible. Thanks to this plan, he was more mellow than I ever thought possible for the flight. Our pup means everything to us and we are so appreciative for the years of excellent care he received here and for all they did for us during this international transition. We could not ask for better veterinary care.
