My 18 year old ill cat stopped eating & drinking over a weekend. I called first thing on Monday morning & was told that they were booked but would check with Dr Goetz to see if they could squeeze me in, which they did. Dr Goetz was wonderfully kind & sympathetic & didn’t rush her treatment, which was euthanasia. I know that we often must wait to see a vet, but sometimes unforeseen situations occur (such as this time) & I so appreciated Dr Goetz & her immediate help.

This is Maci! The staff is amazing!! I rescued my cat almost 10 years ago. She is a HOT MESS when visiting the Vet! Impossible for me to medicate her. They managed to complete all the tests she needed. We have a plan in place for her next visit. Next time, she will be less stressed, and I’m sure the staff, too! Thank you for caring for my precious, Maci!

I cannot express my gratitude enough for Brier Creek Animal Hospital—I had to work an early shift today, so my boyfriend had to take my cat (Melody) to the vet this morning, due to her having some issues while peeing. At her previous vet, they were very dismissive of Melody’s problems, and just told me nothing was wrong with her after running no tests. Brier Creek Animal Hospital ran so many tests today! They genuinely cared about helping our baby, and I’m so, SO thankful! They also provided a binder full of resources, so even though I wasn’t personally there, I won’t miss out on any important information💗. Thank you, Brier Creek Animal Hospital, for taking the time to care for Melody, and for listening to our concerns. Now she can finally get the help she needs, she’s already feeling so much better!💗

My fur baby, Coconut Milk, and I were clients here for over 10 years, and the main reason I always came back was Dr. Goetz. Her compassion and dedication are truly unmatched. At one point, I brought in a foster pet who required several services and could be a bit aggressive. The staff handled him gently and responsibly, offering thoughtful recommendations for medications and safe restraints to help make future visits less stressful. They could have turned us away during that first visit, but instead they showed patience, understanding, and kindness. They even discounted some services because I was working with an adoption agency, which meant so much to me. Dr. Goetz’ care extended beyond just my pets. On one occasion when I was having a difficult day, she personally called me because she noticed I didn’t seem like myself. That level of thoughtfulness is rare and unforgettable. When facing incredibly hard decisions about surgery, hospice, or euthanasia, Dr. Goetz was kind, supportive, and thorough—providing resources, answering questions, and even texting me on her day off to help me make the best decision for my pet. If I ever need a veterinarian again or am asked for a recommendation, I would absolutely recommend this clinic. They even host occasional fun events where families can eat, play, and tour the entire office—including the back—which really shows how welcoming and transparent they are. I am endlessly grateful for Dr. Goetz and the entire team.

At this office you can expect to be ignored overcharged, and disrespected. The owner and lead vet at this establishment called and verbally assaulted me last night at 640 pm. I was unhappy with what was MY REALITY of the experience me and my pet endured. She yelled dismissed me and was so incoherent in her attack. I was unhappy with the bill, procedure, and medication that were forced - not recommended. The doctor retaliated by screaming at me on the phone and hanging up on me and banning me from her hospital which she said is "closing and she’ll be selling off medical supplies" (her words not mine) I had a very cordial conversation with the manager so I thought the problem was resolved- I was looking for $90 of a refund before moving my pet car elsewhere and I was called and told I couldn’t have it (by the owner). I have in writing from the managers words that I was offered a refund but the owner overrode her. The owner preformed a rectal exam without giving me an option to deny it or explaining the cost. She asked that I give my dog treats while it was happening as to distract him but she failed to alert me that she was going in and did not warn me to move my had so I was bit by my own dog. I WAS PUT IN A DANGEROUS SITUATION. She also sent me home with a $65 bottle of fish oil without telling me it was expensive or giving me time and space to shop around. There was a cat roaming the lobby, after putting in writing that my dogs don’t like cats the feline was still roaming and approached both my dogs at separate visits and hissed. A triggering environment and a cat is allowed to roam? I seriously question the judgement of the owner. This is the WORST place I have had care for my pets, would never return.

I brought Skittles to Animal Hospital of Brier Creek under very unexpected and emotional circumstances. I had found him and quickly learned during the visit that he was microchipped, which turned what I thought would be a simple appointment into a very stressful and uncertain situation. Throughout the entire process, the staff showed a lot of compassion and professionalism. The veterinarian personally came out to speak with me and offer comfort, which meant more than I can explain in that moment. The team kept me updated with messages and photos while Skittles was in their care as they waited for the original owner to either claim or surrender him. Those updates helped ease my anxiety and reassured me that he was being well cared for. Once the owner officially surrendered Skittles, the staff was proactive and efficient in completing the necessary steps to reunite him with me. They even allowed me to visit him during the waiting period, which helped tremendously during an emotionally difficult time. While the situation itself was stressful, I truly appreciated the kindness, communication, and care shown by the veterinarian and staff. They did the best they could in a complicated situation, and I’m grateful for how they handled it. I’ll always remember the compassion they showed both me and Skittles during a very emotional experience. Skittles is settled, loved, and clearly right where he belongs. I’m so grateful to the Animal Hospital of Brier Creek for helping make that possible.
