My pets have seen Dr. Douglas and Dr. Getty. Both ladies were so kind and thorough in caring for my pups. The staff doesn’t rush you or the process and made sure I understood all my options. I trust their judgement in helping decide actions of care and am grateful to have found a great vet clinic on the first try here in Portland. Cindy at the front desk was very helpful in tracking down old records and being proactive on what to bring to the apt. Appreciate y’all so much.

I've been taking my cat and senior dog here for about 2 years. Staff is always kind, clear, and gentle with my little ones. They also offer wellness plans for a monthly fee that have made our vet care costs more affordable and predictable. We love Heartfelt Vet!

I cannot recommend Heartfelt Veterinary Hospital enough. We have been bringing our pets here for a long time, and the level of care is truly unmatched. What sets them apart is how much they genuinely care—they remember us every single time we walk through the door and know our pets' personalities and histories inside and out. A huge thank you to Kitty and Dr. Douglas for their amazing care. We recently went through a very stressful situation where our dog, Riley, was injured in a dog attack. They were so compassionate and thorough during a scary time. When it was time to take Riley for his follow-up care, they even came out to the parking lot and helped us safely load him into the car because he couldn't jump. They are truly the sweetest, most professional team in Portland. If you want a vet that feels like family and treats your pets with the highest level of expertise, this is the place.

Wow! I was super impressed. The space was clean and quiet. The staff was kind, efficient, accommodating and the vibes of the lobby/room were very peaceful, which is nice for my reactive little terrier Chucky. Also, having wellness plans is amazing as I can have relief knowing my dog’s basic needs are covered with a monthly payment instead of large sums at a time. Thanks so much for helping my Chucky get acclimated to a new vet environment. I will definitely be back to sign my other 2 dogs up here as well!

The team at Heartfelt is kind, thoughtful and always there to meet pet parents where they are at in life in order to support them in meeting their pet's health needs and helping families thrive. I brought my older cat Tillamook in to them at 5 after never seeing a vet since I adopted her at 10 weeks and their support has helped us manage her weight and stress so well that we were in a place to adopt our new baby, Benson. AMAZING staff & vet! I wanted another opinion for my dog after a year of symptoms that didn't improve under our prior vet's care, who I believe wasn't able to properly examine her bc they were both nervous. The folks at Heartfelt knew just how to handle my 100lb anxious GSD - they got us into a room to wait (my pup barks at other dogs), were very gentle, let her sniff all the exam tools first, and lots of positive reinforcement/distraction with treats. The vet explained my dog's symptoms matched with an autoimmune disease that causes blindness and referred me to a specialist, who did diagnose it as the AI disease. So glad to finally get an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan, all thanks to the wonderful people at Heartfelt. Wish I'd found them sooner but very thankful I did!
