Heart and Soul Animal Urgent Care

I really can’t say enough good things about this please. The staff went out of their way to be patient, helpful, and explain everything I needed to know thoroughly. Speaking of thoroughly, the aftercare printouts they sent me home with for my cat we were so detailed, thorough, and easy to follow. Receiving aftercare instructions hasn’t been something I’ve always experienced at vets. I was so nervous about my cat’s eye and the possibility of him losing vision in it, and they completely left me comforted during the process and afterwards. When a pet owner is enduring an urgent care situation, they can rest assured that if they use Heart and Soul Animal Urgent Care everything will be more than okay. Brenda at the front desk was more than patient and professional in addressing my confusion of the weightlist process and how my "Bubba" would be seen. There were multiple follow up emails with all of the information I needed as well. The medication’s and rituals that were prescribed for his multiple ailments completely addressed and healed them. He is now completely healed and back to his chipper self. They even sent my baby home with a few treats.

I originally took my small service dog here when she was having a mysterious pain issue. A few years later and now having a pup, we needed some dew claw assistance for broken nails. Their commitment to kind, low-anxiety, top-notch care is still so obvious. They will be my go-to for a long time to come. My pup was regulated and happy as a clam when I picked her up.

The team here is very compassionate and patient. I had good experiences both times I had to bring in my cat. The vet explained things to me and was very kind and understanding about financial concerns. I really felt supported in making decisions for my animal that honored both my situation and my cats needs. Ultimately, I had to make the hard decision, and the team was really as kind and wonderful as I could have hoped for.

We first experienced the kindness of the doctors and staff here when we lost our cat. We recently returned when our puppy got into something he shouldn’t have. They continue to be incredibly helpful and kind while taking great care of our sweet puppy. Going to an urgent care is never a fun experience, but they make the experience as positive as it can be.

I recently brought my Chunky man to Heart and Soul for a second opinion after a tentative diagnosis I wasn’t sure about. From the very first phone call to the moment I picked him up, every staff member was empathetic, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly—you can tell they truly enjoy what they do. Dr. Messer was incredibly thorough, taking the time to explain not just what was happening but also why, which I really appreciated. I left Heart and Soul feeling so much more reassured than I had after visiting the emergency vet just a few days earlier. Their pricing was very reasonable, and I never felt pressured into unnecessary tests or procedures. Most importantly, they treated me with respect and didn’t make me feel guilty if there was something I couldn’t afford. Overall, I’d give them an A+ and highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, honest, and high-quality veterinary care. (I don’t know if Chunk would agree as he was prescribed a cone collar and he absolutely hates it. This is a pic of him pouting in it)

We had to put our family dog down on New Year’s Day, and they made an incredibly difficult experience into a comforting and compassionate one. Our family is so thankful for their kindness and care. 💕

Such a great experience after visiting a horrible emergency vet. We got in quick. We were told an amount to pay upfront for our initial appointment/assessment and we paid in advance. Got super empathetic and caring service when we arrived and they soothed my 16 year old daughter who has had her pug since she was 4 years old. They kept our dog for a couple of hours then called us promptly.They made a diagnosis, gave us medication and instructions and made our day!!! Thank you for caring about our pet !
