Our timid little puppy had her first vet visit with Fremont veterinary clinic today. The clinic is clean and quiet. The vet assistant, Jake, was kind and patient with Zadie while weighing and taking her temperature. Dr. Siahpush is wonderful! She put our trembling puppy at ease with her voice, manner and a few treats. She is a great educator too--I had a LOT of questions today. This clinic took very good care of our cats for 15+ years and it looks very promising for our new doggie there.
I've had nothing but problems at this office. The vets are mostly temps who don't communicate and don't follow-up on your pet. I brought my dog for an ultrasound to a specialty office and the report was sent to Fremont. I've been waiting a week for the doctor to review the report. I've been into the office, called, texted, and emailed. I've tried many approaches over the past several days without result. They staff says the doctor will call tomorrow, but they don't. I sent out a fecal sample which went for the wrong tests. I brought in a urine sample which sat most of the day, because they did not know what tests to run. Unresponsive, incompetent staff that will let your dog die while you wait for a phone call.
The staff at Fremont Vet is always kind, concerned, and thorough, and makes every effort to see my pets as quickly as possible if needed. The Doctor or a staff member always follows up to see if any treatment has had the desired effects. Because there are a number of doctors at Fremont it makes it much easier to get an appointment when really needed. My cat and 2 dogs have been going to Fremont Veterinary Clinic for 6 years.
My kitties love to visit Fremont Vets. The receptionists, vet techs, and veterinarians are so friendly. They love cats, don't over-recommend meds, and are very respectful of our choices. They even managed to trim Boot's nail in just a few minutes. Miracle! So glad they are our vets.
We have been with Fremont for decades, they are reliable, caring, and highly skilled!
My family and I have brought dogs here since the 1980s. Every Fremont vet we've seen has been knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. The support staff goes above and beyond my expectations, as well. My current dog has behavior issues and everyone at the clinic has done a great job of helping me help her have a better, healthier life and making sure everyone (they, me, my pup, and anyone in the waiting room) has a safe, good experience, all without perpetuating any of the guilt you often have as the owner of a difficult dog. (Special thanks to Dan- without him, Lulu's nails would be 4 inches long and my hands riddled with bites!) While I can certainly understand finding a particular vet here that you want to see exclusively, if their calendar is booked up, I'd totally recommend seeing any of the doctors. All of the doctors I've seen here have been very knowledgeable and each have their own interests and experiences that can help you form a complete picture of options and solutions for your pet. They are a busy clinic, and sometimes get walk-in emergencies, so I've found it's best to schedule as ahead of time as you can. If your appointment is later in the day, things may be running a little late, as well. But I have always felt comfortable asking questions and being given the time to do so.
Been taking my pups there for the last decade. Friendly staff and several docs have helped me through caring for a dog with cancer and end of life. Very grateful.
